Our self-proclaimed pizza professional and veteran of the industry has scoured pizzerias across Greater Manchester to put together our list of must visit pizza joints.

1) Crazy Pedro’s Part-Time Pizza Parlour, Northern Quarter and Spinningfields

bycrazypedros

Part pizza joint, part bar, Crazy Pedro’s brings us the best of both worlds with its legendary lunch deal – two slices and a drink for a fiver. The dough is made fresh every day and topped with a host of weird and wonderful things, from the classic to the downright bizarre (look out for sweet Baby Cheesus at Christmas). 55-57 Bridge Street, M33BQ. 1 Short Street, Northern Quarter, M4 1AA

2) Rudy’s Pizza, Ancoats and Peter Street

byrudyspizzamcr

The restaurant is walk-in only, so get there early to avoid disappointment.  9 Cotton St, M4 5BF. Petersfield House, Peter St, M2 5QJ

3) PLY, Northern Quarter

4) Zads, Chorlton

The self-titled ‘guilt-free takeaway’ is the only vegan take-out pizzeria in Greater Manchester.
