And with a number of twinkling, cosy huts and igloos beginning to grace the city’s outdoor spaces, how could we not get excited? From twinkling igloos decked out with Christmassy decorations, to twinkling teepees providing shelter from the harsh temperatures – we’ve rounded up the best outdoor huts/igloos/teepees/you name it to enjoy this Winter in Manchester.

1. The Lawn Club

Opening up their brand new greenhouses alongside their existing lawn pods following the UK lockdown, The Lawn Club makes for the perfect social distancing spot this winter – including a number of lawn houses available to book for you and your household. They take cosy to the next level, too, with twinkling fairy lights lighting up the lawn and providing a festive ambience. The Lawn Club is currently closed for their grand winter refurbishment, with a new menu pending and extended outdoor seating planned to arrive at the space soon. 2. Bar Hütte

Bar Hütte is returning bigger and better than ever for 2020, this time at the Great Northern Warehouse. Guests will be able to rent their very own festive “hütte” with their household, each including pizza, drinks and your very own karaoke machine to enjoy for the duration. 3. The Oast House

The Oast House is an annual favourite here in Manchester, with their giant teepee taking centre stage every year in Spinningfields. And for those looking for a headstart on the festivities, it’s officially open already. Complete with a cosy fire in the centre, fairy lights and festive details, the Curious Teepee is the perfect spot for some food and cocktails – where you can choose from pub classics or their famous hanging kebabs. 4. Piccolino
