Popping up in Spinningfields every single winter without fail, the tipi at The Oast House has become an institution in itself… An annual highlight, one might say. Marking the beginning of the festive period, the beloved pop-up is a warming retreat from the Manchester rain – and this year, it’s back bigger and better.
Complete with two roaring fires, twinkling fairy lights and faux fur throws, a mouth-watering street food menu and seasonal cocktails, the winter tipi is set to land in Spinningfields next month. The Oast House’s Teepee will be celebrating its 11th year and we have a feeling it’s going to be a popular hideaway for Mancs during the colder months.
Reopening on October 11, the tipi at The Oast House will boast four tents joined together with a huge open hub, allowing guests to see into the main bar, soak up the party atmosphere as well as the stage area set up for guests to dance the night away to a packed line-up of live gigs. The Oast House’s snug retreat will also feature firepits and live music alongside winter cocktails, hot chocolate, mulled wine and tempting street food, just in time for the chilly weather.
Inside the new lodge guests can expect to dine on some seriously good grub from the The Oast House’s street food style menu including katsu fries, Korean fried chicken, chicken or plant-based gyros, stacked burgers and hanging kebabs. A selection of show-stopping seasonal cocktails and festive tipples will also be on offer to wash it all down with.
The Oast House and The Teepee will be open every day from 11am until late throughout the winter and will continue hosting a packed roster of live musicians, turning up the dial a notch for the festive period. The heated venue is open for walk-ins, but you can also book a limited number of tables each day via The Oast House’s website and areas can be booked out for Christmas parties and gatherings.
