Picture this. You’ve had a fair few post-work drinks and now you’re feeling pretty famished. But which dining spots in Manchester are still serving into the late hours of the evening? Well, luckily for you, we’ve rounded up the best places in Manchester to tuck into some late night food in order to fulfil that craving of yours.
1. Crazy Pedro’s
The ultimate after-work spot, Crazy Pedro’s is open until 4am and is the perfect place to pick up a beer and a slice when you’re feeling a bit peckish. Pizza is available by the slice or the whole 16″, with nachos and even pizza nachos also available to order. Choose from their Mac Daddy pizza, the KFC, and even a bin lid filled to the brim with nachos. Crazy Pedro’s has two sites across Manchester, both open until the early hours with great music, beers and of course – grub!

2. Bunny Jackson’s
Serving their main food menu until 10pm, Bunny Jacksons is the home of the delicious 25p wing, with loaded fries, chicken dippers, juicy burgers and much, much more available to order. But the real pull for the joint? Their incredible chicken wings. Classic wings are just 25p per wing, with buffalo, BBQ and sticky soy and garlic options costing just 35p per wing, and the fancier Jack Daniel’s smoked honey mustard BBQ and Sailor Jerry spiced sesame wings at 45p per wing. If you’re looking for a snack after sinking a few pints though, the bar serves some incredible bites like mozzarella dippers, fried pickle spears and jalapeño poppers. I’ll take four, please.

3. The Chip Shop
A new (and very welcome) addition to Manchester, The Chip Shop is situated right near Piccadilly station meaning it’s the perfect spot for late night food if you’re running to get the train back home. Serving up battered, yet flaky on the inside, cod and haddock alongside crispy chips and chip shop classics like battered sausage and pies (including a chicken balti flavour). As well as your accompaniments like gravy and mushy peas, you can also choose from three different curry sauces – English, Irish and Chinese. You’ll be sat cradling this order on the train home in delight, but just don’t miss your stop!

4. Archie’s
Archie’s has been fast-growing since its 2010 launch, and it’s for good reason. The restaurant now has three venues around the city centre, making it the perfect pitstop for a burger if you’re peckish. Their Oxford Road diner is open until 2am most nights and 3am on weekends, with their takeaway further down the road also fulfilling your burger needs until the early hours. The burgers are juicy and stacked, with crispy chicken, succulent beef and so much more to choose from.

5. Black Dog NQ
Popular late-night spot Black Dog NQ is open till daylight, with DJs, cocktails and pool till 4am and 5am on Saturdays. The New York-style bar also serves up some top-notch grub, however, making it the perfect spot to stay if you fancy a night out un-interrupted by needing to eat. The kitchen is open until 10pm, where guests can dine on burgers and loaded fries (including pepperoni and pulled beef as toppings) by Smash & Dash. The perfect fuel for a few games of pool!

6. Pepperoni Playboy
Purveyors of thin crust pizza at YES, Pepperoni Playboy, serve pizza until 11pm on weeknights and 2am on weekends, but they’ll even do you half price slice daily until 6pm. That means a slice of pizza starting from £1.40. Late night food and a bargain in Manchester? Yes, please. As well as serving pizza classics like basil and mozzarella plus pepperoni, Pepperoni Playboy also has some vegan and veggie options available too – think vegan shawarma toppings and a cheesy garlic bread base topped with mushrooms.

7. MyLahore
When we think of late night food dishes that spring to mind are curry and burgers and this Asian fusion restaurant on Manchester’s Curry Mile offers both. MyLahore on Wilmslow Road serves up comforting curries like butter chicken, karahi, lamb handi on the bone and chicken tikka masala as well as your traditional curries like jalfrezi, rogan josh, korma and dopiaza. MyLahore also offers a range of burgers, flame grill dishes, stir-fries, pasta, paninis, wraps and salads. Have an absolute feast post-night out with pakoras, samosas, chaat alongside seekh kebabs and cheesy garlic naan bread to start.

8. Aplus Oriental
Offering authentic Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine, roast meats and dim sum in Manchester’s China Town, Aplus Oriental is open until the early hours of the morning. Whether it’ satay or Szechuan style, sweet and sour or salt and pepper you fancy, Aplus has got it on the menu. You’ll find an extensive dishes to choose from, including vegan and vegetarian options, as well as banquet menus if you and your mates are feeling fancy yet famished. The upper floor of the restaurant also boasts a karaoke and a party room with top-tier sound systems and lighting, for those who fancy carrying on the night a little later (fuelled by stir fries and dumplings, of course).

9. Mughli Charcoal Pit
Regularly named as one of the best Indian restaurants in Manchester, Mughli Charcoal Pit on Manchester’s ‘Curry Mile serves both delicious Indian and Pakistani dishes. The family-owned restaurant offers both dine-in and takeaway, and offers street cart classics alongside curry dishes such as Balti, butter chicken and Jalfrezi, with lamb kebabs and chicken skewers fresh out the charcoal pit. Plus, Mughli has all the carbs with their leopard roll (lamb seekh with sweet chilli chutney wrapped up in a roti blanket), bombay and bhangin’ potatoes and kulcha (naan bread stuffed with mince lamb, green chilli and cheese).

10. Suki Suki
Suki Suki serves some of the best bao buns and ramen in the city. If you’re after some late night food after some entertainment at Great Northern Warehouse with mates, Suki Suki is great, casual pan-Asian dining spot in Manchester to resolve those hunger pains. With street nibbles like gyoza, salt and pepper wings, soft shell crab tempura, sui mai and bang bang prawns on the menu as well as substantial mains like steaming bowls of ramen, stir fry dishes and curries (including katsu) it’s a feast for the eyes and belly.
