Get ready, Rola Wala is set to spice up Deansgate in Manchester. The Indian street food spot hails from Leeds and has fed the masses for years with their signature jam-packed naan wraps, perfect for lunch, tea or in place of a classic kebab after a night of indulgence, and it’s set to hit Manchester’s longest road this November.
Ahead of its Manchester opening on November 9, Rola Wala has set the scene, saying: “Bringing proper lunches, epic dinner, and late-night loving to the great underserved. It’s on, and it’s going to get spicy.” Plus, to celebrate their opening, Rola Wala are offering free naan rolls from 12pm-3pm on November 9 – as long as you’re in the queue by 3pm you can get your hands on one.
Alongside the existing range of epic Naan Rolls and Spice Bowls, Rola Wala is launching some new additions to the menu: the all-new Tikka Tacos, prawn patia curry, and garlic Naan Rolls, just as they open in Manchester. You’ll also find a brand new range of crowd-pleasing sides that will transport you straight to the streets of Delhi, including masala fries, spicy grilled corn, paneer chips, onion bhaji, and so much more.
Unlike typical fast food, Rola Wala prides itself on not loading their food with empty calories. Half of the menu features vegan options, and most of the main meals on the menu are under 500 calories, even the meat-based dishes. Everything on the menu is made from scratch in the kitchens daily, using minimal salt, oil and preservatives, and no trans-fats or ghee so you can ensure that eating at Rola Wala means you can have big flavours, and good calories at the same time.
Choose from a range of authentically spiced hot fillings, laden with fresh salads and garnishes, bursting with flavour in a Naan Roll, Spice Bowl, or an all-new Tikka Tacos. Set your own heat level from their range of five freshly made chutneys that vary from no-chill and mild, through to extra spicy.
The tantalising Indian spot will be open until 3am on weekends, so is perfect for a bite to eat after a big night before stumbling home, and is working to extend those hours to the rest of the week. We’re always happy to hear of a new late-night treat, with a cookie spot to satisfy your sweet tooth just down the road.
In partnership with One Feeds Two, for every naan roll sold, Rola Wala provides a school meal to a child living in poverty. By giving nutritious school meals to children living in some of the poorest countries in the world, they are encouraged to attend school, which helps raise communities out of poverty. To date, Rola Wala has provided over 750,00 meals and counting.
Rola Wala will be located at 75 Deansgate, M3 2BW when it opens on November 9.
