We’ve got plenty of Asian cuisine to tuck into in Manchester whether it be Chinese, Vietnamese or Indian, to name a few. Now, a brand-new Indian culinary adventure from street food purveyors Payal, Bombay Curry Club, has arrived at Freight Island Manchester, joining the spectacular line-up up of fellow vendors already delighting the Manc masses.
Join Payal’s Bombay Curry Club every Thursday from 6pm – 9pm for a modern twist on the all-you-can-eat buffet experience, with DJ Rasp spinning tunes from 8pm till late. Indulge in an exquisite line-up featuring Chicken Tikka, Lamb Karahi, and Chicken Makhani, along with the likes of Jeera Rice, Kachumber Salad, Naan, and Masala Fries. And don’t forget to savour the crunch of the Bombay Curry Club Poppadoms and the delight of the Veg Samosas.
For veggies, there’s an Aloo Gobi Masala, where soft cauliflower florets and fluffy potatoes combine with a whole heap of spices. Whether you crave fiery spices or prefer milder flavours, vegan or not, there’s a dish to tantalise every palate. Simply book a free ticket to secure your place, and then pay £16 for all-you-can-eat on arrival – bargain!
The club is hosted by Freight Island favourite Indian spot Payal, which, on the regular, serves up delicious twists on tandoori classics such as Cheesy Chicken Kebabs, Chilli Chicken served with Indian Slaw, and a whole range of ‘Naanwiches‘… which we must investigate immediately.
The new Thursday night offering comes ahead of Freight Island’s huge festive season launch, where it will be transformed into Winter Island. This year it includes a new Twilight Trail, an enchanting winter light show in Mayfield Park. You can grab a free ticket for Bombay Curry Club in Manchester here.
Bombay Curry Club is located at Payal in Freight Island at 11 Baring St, Manchester M1 2PZ.
