There’s pretty much no one else in the world more famous than Taylor Swift right now, and rightly so. We’re not exempt to her allure here in Manchester, and with the songstress’ eleventh (I know!) album The Tortured Poets Department being released on Friday 19 April, there’s a whole load of anticipation building up. So, this Friday, celebrate the arrival of Taylor Swift’s latest masterwork The Tortured Poets Department with your closest Swifties at Fairfield Social Club’s (FSC) special album listening party, Taylor Swift pub quiz and friendship bracelet making.
Swift’s 11th LP will be the first recorded works to be released since 2022’s Midnights and frankly it’s been too long! So gather your friends and fellow Swift-aholics for a night dedicated to Taylor and her legacy. Swap stories, friendship bracelets and knowledge at FSC’s album listening party that will accompany a themed quiz all about Taylor’s career with not a Scooter Braun in sight, as promised by FSC.
There will also be special themed cocktails to imbibe whilst ruminating on what Taylor meant in songs that have only just been released, a big part of Swiftie culture, of course.
This isn’t the FSC’s first rodeo when it comes to celebrating Taylor Swift, as those behind Manchester’s GRUB street food and entertainment venue have hosted the likes of a Swiftie-oke event and wholesome Swiftie social in the past, and the same team are behind the newer FSC. With this in mind, you’re bound to have a stunning time, Shaking it Off, staying out of Trouble, and creating a Love Story with besties old and new.
🎟️ Tickets for the Taylor Swift The Tortured Poets Department album listening party are available here.
