Everything in Oasis-world has been going swimmingly, from their long-awaited reunion gigs in 2025 to their eventual induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, but one thing has been bugging fans throughout – and that’s the absence of a Knebworth reunion show, alongside an official Manchester residency.
So, finally, Oasis have officially announced a live show at Knebworth for 2027 which like in 1996 has a capacity of 250,000 over two nights – but this time they’re doing four shows at the iconic venue: 11,
12, 18 and 19 September 2027.
In 1996, the Gallagher brothers famously played within the grounds of the Hertfordshire manor house, and it’s still spoken about to this day. What’s more, the Knebworth gigs were immortalised in a documentary film just five years ago in 2021, showing just how present the event still is in fans’ minds.
For fans, Knebworth is up there with the likes of Live Aid, Woodstock and, closer to home, The Stone Roses‘ iconic Spike Island gig in 1990, so of course a repeat is highly anticipated since the boys got back together.
Oasis will play an 11-night residency at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium

Thankfully for us, Manc fans in the Gallagher hometown will also be able to get in on the action, as Oasis have also announced 11 nights at their beloved Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium. The 63,000 capacity stadium will ensure an immense amount of people will be able to indulge in the hype of the shows which follow on from the incredible Heaton Park gigs the Gallagher brothers pulled off last year on their reunion tour.
Oasis will play at the Etihad Stadium on the following days:
June 2027
- 04
- 06
- 08
- 11
- 12
- 15
- 18
- 19
- 22
- 25
- 26
No supports acts have yet been announced for these monumental gigs, but the likes of Courteeners would be more than happy to fill the spot, with frontman Liam Fray saying the band would “answer the call” if the Gallaghers rang, on air with Johnny Vaughan on Radio X. Frankly lads, you may have to join the queue…
When do tickets go on sale?
So, the all-important details. The ins and outs are all a bit illusive at the moment, the only information being: Register before 4pm BST / 5pm CEST/ 8am PT/ 11am ET, 17th September here.

How to get to Knebworth from Manchester
Of course there are Oasis fans all over the world, never mind the country, proven successfully by the overwhelming demand on the 2025 Oasis tour. Having said that, with the Gallaghers being from Manchester, plenty of us will be coming from here, and getting to Knebworth could prove to be a challenge.
Return coach and ticket packages will be available from 124 pick-up points across three zones in England and Wales. Packages will be available with both General Admission Standing and Front Standing tickets.
Zone C includes Greater Manchester and the wider North, but do check your zone before you book.
During the onsale, select the coach package for your zone. This will include your event ticket and return coach travel. After booking, Ticketmaster will send you a survey on Friday 2nd October where you can choose the pick-up point that suits you best and secure your seat on that coach. There is no need to contact Big Green Coach during this waiting period.
If you don’t fancy the all-inclusive vibe, you can get the train to Stevenage where Knebworth Park is a bus ride, taxi ride or energetic walk away – although you’ll have to change trains in London. You can also drive to Knebworth from Manchester in around 3.5 hours, although parking may be tricky in the vicinity of the venue.
