Knowsley Safari Park is hosting a special sleepover this August Bank Holiday – and it’s for the very first time, ever. Animal lovers can camp under the stars, in true safari style, on Saturday, August 23, until Sunday, August 24.
Knowsley Safari Park is introducing Camp Knowsley, where guests can sleep outdoors surrounded by exotic animals, accompanied with all things camping, including campfires, a BBQ supper and two full days of foot safari access.

What’s more, the adventure will be amped up by exclusive bushcraft activities including bug eating, fire lighting, crafts and shelter building. The wilderness experience will go on into the wee hours of the night with private safari experiences, before catching up with fellow campers after dark, with hot drinks and a tasty BBQ supper in the campfire community space.
The sleeping arrangements are truly unique for the UK, as campers will retire to a bell tent, equipped with foam-topped airbeds, sleeping up to four people each. The next morning, campers will help the keepers feed breakfast to meerkats and bush dogs.

What’s more, the Knowsley Safari Sleepover tickets come with two day Foot Safari access, where you can spot Amur tigers, giraffes, Andean bears and birds of prey, as well as the 500-acre Safari Drive. The drive is also the UK’s longest, including glimpses of the white rhino, African lions, Bactrian camels, ostrich and more species.
Head of Marketing & Sales at Knowsley Safari, Helena Berry, said: “This is a one-night-only wild camping adventure like no other, the ultimate outdoors escapade for nature-loving families, and a truly unique opportunity to experience the Safari after dark.”

The Knowsley Safari Sleepover is taking place on the night of August 23 and 24, and you can get your tickets here for £600 per four-person tent with everything included.
