You can’t go wrong with a good glass of vino- and there’s always an occasion to crack open a bottle, from date nights to celebrations, long overdue catch-ups to just making the mid-week more bearable. Here to liven up the week is cute wine bar and shop KERB nestled in Manchester’s Ancoats offering casual wine tastings and chilled out events, all free to attend.
Located on Henry Street, KERB allows you to try different wines and learn a little more about them in the process. With these wine tastings it’s also the perfect opportunity to sample a range of wines and not having to commit to one bottle or glass on the menu like in a restaurant.
Taking place every Thursday, you’ll find a line-up of selected wines, all chosen by KERB. They can be organised by wine producer, location, type of grape and so on. The Ancoats wine bar, which feature taps pouring beautiful, natty wine from them, welcomes anyone to their casual tastings, and needn’t be intimidated or require a certain level of knowledge to be able to enjoy. Cheers to that!
At KERB, they love and specialise in natural wine, so this is just another way of them sharing their passion with customers. Simply walk on in and enjoy these casual tastings, which are free, non-ticketed events. Although, you do have to pay for the wine, sorry about that.
In anticipation for their weekly wine event, KERB advertise the wines that will be on offer on the night a few days before. If you fancy dipping your toe (or should we say sipping?) into the world of wine, these tastings are great way to do so.
As well as being a bar, KERB also offers online wine deliveries to those near and far. Whether you fancy a full-bodied red, fresh orange, crisp white, refreshing rosé or bubbly sparkling, all of which are natural of course, this wine bar has got you.
