While Archie’s is mostly known as the city’s pinkest, most Instagrammable burger joint, it’s actually one of the most halal-friendly restaurants in Manchester, too. One of the city’s favourite spots for Indian and Pakistani cuisine, Zouk Tea Bar is one of the restaurants in Manchester which serves up a 100% halal menu, meaning diners can rest easy when ordering. Don Giovanni can be found on Manchester’s busy Oxford Street, serving up an array of halal dishes among their traditional Italian menu. Luckily for fried chicken fans, Yard & Coop‘s chicken is 100% halal, offering a whopping menu of chicken, chicken and more chicken. Dishoom has long been one of the UK’s favourite Indian restaurants, and luckily for those who follow a halal diet, it serves both lamb and chicken coming from certified halal suppliers. Pork is served for breakfast, however, on the All Day menu, guests can expect delicious halal small plates such as lamb samosas, grilled chicken marinated in flavourful spices, family-style chicken tikka and juicy lamb chops. Manchester’s very own Salt Bae-style restaurant is quite the theatrical experience and thankfully caters for all steak lovers – including those who eat strictly halal. Think huge juicy steaks dry-aged for 28 days (and in some cases, even covered in 24-carat gold!), Turkish meatballs, huge portions of lamb and juicy burgers.
