Buns, glorious buns.
One of the most genius things man ever did was put a juicy hunk of meat between two pieces of bread, a simple action that led to years of evolution – amplified in recent history by the newfound revelation that anything can be a burger if you just believe. Seriously, we’ve seen it all – especially here in Manchester. The city’s culinary experts have crafted burgers of all cuisines – from the classic American and the luxury bone marrow varieties to the more creative Sunday roast burger and patties topped with peanut butter. We’re literally living in a foodie revolution.
Celebrating all things burgers next week, GRUB is set to welcome a whole host of fantastic vendors to its food fair, with tons of different takes on the classic dish being served.
Welcoming the likes of What’s Your Beef, Osaka Local, What The Cluck, Tikka Chance On Me and Bake-o-Rama, guests will be able to try out huge American style burgers smothered with cheese, massive chicken burgers, unique Indian-spiced burgers, and those of the Japanese variety, too – just to give you a little taster of what’s in store. The only drawback will be deciding which ones to try with such limited space in your tummy.
Vegans can rejoice, too, as GRUB will be sticking with their Plant Powered Sundays during the weekender, with plenty of tasty vegan burgers available to try for one day only.
Taking place at GRUB MCR’s usual home, The Red Bank Project, everyone will be welcome as always (dogs and children included!) with free entry and doors opening at 12 noon, July 2nd-July 4th.
