At this time of year, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with all the new things to try, whether it’s Dry January, taking up a fitness routine, or changing your diet. If you’re giving Veganuary a go, however, Manchester’s GRUB is making that bit easier, celebrating the world of plant-based eats with the ninth instalment of its ExtraVEGANza!
After setting up in 2017, the GRUB ExtraVEGANza has always been at the forefront of plant-based eating in Manchester and they’re delighted to still be flying the flag for those that choose to go vegan.
From 5pm on Friday 26 January to 6pm on Sunday 28 January 2024 GRUB will be wall-to-wall vegan treats from some Manchester favourites. They’ll be boasting the very best fully vegan street food traders in Manchester alongside a 100% vegan bar offering wine, cocktails, spirits, mulled wine, soft drinks and beer from the best local vegan friendly breweries.
On arrival, expect music, vibes and lovely times as always with a wonderful group of people, whether visitors are permanently vegan or just dipping their toes in for January.
Food-wise, you’ll be able to get your hands on grub from Desert Island Dumplings serving up vegan fusion dumplings; Nina’s Taco Truck bringing Mexicana vibes in their iconic caravan; dirty, healthy kebabs from Seitan’s Kebab; Wholesome Junkies making you rethink what vegan food can and will be; and Munchie Mummy’s Vegan Bakery serving up the sweetest of treats.
The ExtraVEGANza at GRUB promises something plant-based for absolutely everyone, and all are completely welcome, so get going with that New Year’s resolution!
Entry to GRUB for the ExtraVEGANza is completely free, as always, and there’s no need to book unless you’re planning on visiting as a large group, in which case you can book a table here.
GRUB is located at 50 Red Bank, Cheetham Hill, Manchester M4 4HF.
