3. Hampton & Voúis
Serving quite possibly the most Instagrammable pancakes in Manchester, Hampton and Voúis is a brunch-lover’s paradise. The pancakes and French toasts in particular are decorated with plenty of finesse and pops of colour making the dishes almost too pretty to eat. From March 3 to March 8, guests can tuck into five irresistible pancake creations at Albert’s Schloss, available all day (until 9.30pm), with three exclusive specials crafted just for the occasion. Vietnamese street food restaurant, Pho, is spotlighting their iconic Bánh xèo – a crispy, stuffed rice pancake that’s a must-try this Pancake Day. Typically reserved for their dinner menu, Pho is bringing this much loved dish from their menu to the masses for breakfast, lunch and dinner for one day only – available all day on Tuesday 4th March. This savoury pancake is crafted from rice flour, water and turmeric powder, and it’s then stuffed with your choice of prawns, chicken, or tofu, combined with wok-fried onion and bean sprouts. The Bánh xèo is served alongside fresh herbs like perilla leaves, rice papers, and a flavourful nuoc cham dipping sauce.
