A new immersive Christmas experience is coming to Manchester next month, and it’s got much more going for it than Santa’s grotto. Beyond the opportunity for children to meet Santa and write him a letter, families will get to step into the magical world of The Polar Express.
A full festive production awaits at Believe The Polar Express Manchester, immersing you in this whimsical Christmas story with singing, dancing, theatre, elves, a North Pole experience, and of course the most beloved characters from the film.
What is Believe The Polar Express Manchester? When and where does it open?
A truly immersive, magical Christmas adventure awaits at Believe The Polar Express Manchester, which opens at Victoria Warehouse on November 21. This multi-room festive experience brings the enchanting childhood classic to life for a new generation of children, as well as nostalgic parents who were transported into the film’s dreamy world in 2004.
What can you expect at this immersive Christmas experience?
The experience opens in the main character’s bedroom, where he wakes to the arrival of the marvellous Polar Express outside the window. Kids are even encouraged to wear pyjamas to the experience to fully immerse themselves in the story!
Get your golden ticket punched and board the carriage, where you’ll meet the film’s most beloved characters and embark on a journey through magical landscapes on your way to the North Pole: the Caribou Forest, icy lakes, and dazzling Northern Lights.
Singing, dancing, interactive storytelling, and lots of festive cheer make the experience come to life all around you, so you truly feel like you’re aboard The Polar Express. Just like in the film, your golden ticket also gets you a complimentary hot chocolate (and in this case a cookie as well), so you’ll be immersed in the Christmas spirit with all five senses.
The magic doesn’t end at the North Pole. Here, lots of Christmassy activities await the whole family: a pyjama party, writing a letter to Santa, a naughty-or-nice machine, a festive crafting station, and the opportunity to meet Santa himself.
