The world’s first ‘Fish & Chip Hotel’ is popping up in the Lancashire seaside town of Blackpool for one weekend only where you may want to duck and dive (25) or rise and shine (29), is your cup of tea (3) or feel like you’re top of the shop (90).
Gala Bingo have released images of the gingham-clad hotel with a full-on fish counter and is bringing the quintessential British experience to the iconic seaside destination of Blackpool, combining two of the nation’s favourite things: bingo, and fish and chips. The bingo company is calling all British seaside goers to visit The Jolly Good Fish & Chip Hotel prototype on July 8 and 9, and visitors get to enjoy a portion of fish, chips and peas alongside games of bingo, all for free.
In true Gala Bingo style, The Jolly Good Fish and Chip Hotel pop-up in Blackpool will be ‘five in a row’ themed, and will be opening its doors to surprise visitors with a little bit of joy to brighten their beach day. Guests will be able to enjoy their fish and chips at the hotel’s dining room and join in on games of bingo held throughout the day, or take them away to enjoy in the sun at the Blackpool Pier or Pleasure Beach nearby.
The Jolly Good Fish & Chip Hotel room will also be open for visitors to have a snoop around. The Gala Bingo concierge will be there to meet and greet guests and welcome them into the ‘five in a row’ themed suite, where they can test out the hotel bed, and have a cheeky selfie with friends, and experience what it would be like to spend a night in the world’s first Fish & Chip Hotel room.
