The lovely Chinese restaurant situated next to Whitefield Metrolink station, 8 Manchester, is open on December 25 and will be offering an affordable Christmas Day banquet at £55 per person, served between 12.30pm and 3pm. The banquet features turkey and sweetcorn soup, a mixed platter with seaweed, prawn and chive dumplings; salt and pepper spare ribs; deep fried crab claw; and vegetable spring rolls. The chic Scandi-style restaurant OSMA based in Prestwich is offering a Christmas Day menu full of elevated classics. Beginning with canapés and a glass of Cremant, guests can choose between broccoli and stilton soup, chicken liver pâté or dill cured salmon, followed by a choice of Goosnargh turkey, salt aged duck breast, grass-fed fillet beef or wild mushroom pithivier, served with all the trimmings for the main course. Zouk are relieving the stress of Christmas Day cooking and cleaning with their Christmas Day Banquet, cooking up a six-course banquet with a spiced twist, loaded with a variety of starter platters and main courses. Next door to Zouk is Etçi Mehmet who is also getting involved in the Christmas Day dinner feasts in Manchester. Offering a festive menu starting from £29.95 per person, the Turkish steakhouse will be serving up the likes of a special mezze platter featuring Turkish bread, baba ganoush, hummus and cacik, followed by either roasted aubergine, grilled salmon, roast turkey or ribeye steak. Peter Street Kitchen is serving not three but five courses for their Christmas Day Luncheon. Guests can pick between seared scallop, marinated crispy duck and stracciatella with cinnamon roasted plums for starters, followed by a palate cleanser consisting of rosé Rioja jelly with mandarin sorbet.
