The weather outside might be pretty frightful (as is ever the case with Manchester), but that’s just all the more of an excuse to retreat to one of the city’s many festively decorated bars and restaurants this Christmastime. Joining the fleet of twinkling venues across the city, Ducie Street Warehouse, and its aparthotel, Native Manchester, has unveiled a wide array of programming for guests to celebrate Christmas this festive season.
Launching on November 16, Ducie Street Warehouse will begin the festive season with a dazzling Christmas Launch Party featuring pop-up shops, live music performances, and creative festive workshops. The Christmas Launch Party is free to attend where guests will be serenaded by Ben & Ash Duo performing live and getting everyone in the festive spirit with a Christmas Tree reveal and the launch of their Christmas menu available at the lounge and restaurant.
Offering a Christmas gift shopping destination, Ducie Street Warehouse has curated pop-up shops on November 16, featuring stylish apparel from Threadbare, cosy loungewear from It’s 9pm, and boutique jewellery July Child. Further pop-up available across the season is with the premium vintage and designer store SYLK on December 16.
For those getting creative this festive season, a series of Christmas workshops are available across November and December. Ducie Street will host wreathmaking workshops with The Bud and Pot on November 16 and December 6, a clay bauble workshop with Cork&Clay on November 16, and a sexy Santa painting workshop with Cork&Canvas on December 14.
Plus, across the festive season, the cosy, dog-friendly 36-seat Mini Cini will host a series of Christmas films where guests can share memorable festive moments together with their loved ones. You can escape the mad Christmas rush in the city by cosying up with the likes of Love Actually with a drink and popcorn to really get into the festive spirit.
Over at the restaurant, Ducie Street Warehouse is set to host the ultimate festive brunches with Grey Goose. Featuring Ducie Street Warehouse’s signature disco brunch party style with a Christmas twist, the festive brunches are hosted weekly every Saturday from November 25 until December 16. Priced at £40 per person, which includes one dish and bottomless cocktails for 90 minutes, this Festive Disco Brunch at Ducie Street is sure to get you in the mood for the Christmas party season.
A curated Christmas menu will also be available at the restaurant from November 16, featuring lamb hotpot croquettes and caramelised onion gravy, breaded brie with port and cranberry relish, maple roasted parsnip hummus with redcurrants and flatbread, and turkey ballotine with apricot, sage and redcurrant in port jus.
The festive dining set menu is also available for large party (of six and more) featuring a three-course menu priced at £55 per person. Sample festive dining menu available here. And a sample Christmas day menu available here – featuring drinks on arrival and a three-course menu priced at £120 per person, and £60 per child under 12.
