The weather outside might be pretty frightful (as is ever the case with Manchester), but that’s just all the more of an excuse to retreat to one of the city’s many festively decorated bars and restaurants this Christmastime. Joining the fleet of now-twinkling venues across the city, Ducie Street Warehouse, and its aparthotel, Native Manchester, has unveiled its new look just in time for the festive period, complete with decadent Christmas trees, subtle decorations, and beautiful wreaths dotted around the venue.
Launching a wonderful entertainment schedule to accompany their new look, guests (including furry ones too) will be able to escape to the warming space for food, drink and entertainment, with plenty of events to enjoy as December 25th draws near. Starting from November 17 and running up until New Year’s Eve – guests will be able to roam the festive pop-up markets, learn how to make their own wreaths or even enjoy a festive flick or two at the Warehouse’s very own dog-friendly cinema.
First up, the intimate restaurant at Ducie Street Warehouse will launch a Festive Dining Menu with a selection of starters, mains and desserts. Two courses are priced at £35 per person available every day for lunch. Three courses are priced at £40 per person for Monday to Wednesday, and £45 per person for Thursday to Sunday.
The Ducie Street Christmas mains include turkey saltimbocca Romana & confit vine tomatoes; miso & honey glazed cod with Asian greens and soy dressing; roasted sweet potato wellington with red pepper fondue and kale; and flat iron steak with sautéed tenderstem broccoli and bone marrow gravy.

Finishing off sweet, the desserts menu include Ducie Street Warehouse Manchester cream liqueur tiramisu; mulled poached pear, granola and vanilla ice cream; medjool date sticky toffee pudding and Madagascan vanilla ice cream; and clementine tart and vegan meringue.
The restaurant will also open Christmas Day on Sunday 25th December serving a special Christmas menu priced at £120 per person and £60 for children under 12, which includes three-course menu and snack on arrival. The menu highlights include chicken liver parfait, cranberry & port relish, toasted sourdough for starters.
Followed by mains including roast free range turkey breast, Massey’s roast potatoes, piccolo parsnips, sprouts & greens, pig in blankets & poultry gravy and roast prime beef sirloin, Blackstick’s blue dauphinoise, baby vegetables & Tuscan kale with red wine jus. And finishing with something sweet, or either selection of British cheese with homemade fruit preserve & artisan crackers, or Garstang Blue, Mrs Kirkham’s Lancashire, Godminster vintage organic cheddar & Button Mill brie.
The restaurant will also host a series of the venue’s staple BIG Disco Brunch with a special festive twist, every Saturday from November 26, including Christmas Eve, and right up until New Year’s Eve on December 31. An additional Festive Disco Brunch will also be hosted on Boxing Day too.
