Manchester’s newest games bar is almost here, and it’s set to be a one-stop destination for friends looking for a fun night out. Bringing together tons of competitive games under one roof, guests of Boom Battle Bar will be able to enter the immersive ‘battleground’ when stepping into the bar, with plenty of opportunities for competing with mates throughout the venue.
Boasting a whopping 10,000 sqft unit within Manchester Printworks – formerly the Lazy Lizard nightclub – the venue will be home to tons of popular games such as axe throwing, beer pong, pool, AR darts, karaoke, shuffleboard and more, with a dedicated karaoke zone and nostalgic arcade to accompany for those who want to keep the party going.
In addition to their wonderland of grown-up games, guests can also enjoy the venue’s premium bar – fully stocked with beers, spirits, cocktails and more – alongside a delicious menu of casual bites such as nachos, chicken tenders, loaded fries and tons more. The menu is perfect for sharing, perfectly partnering the venue’s mate date vibe.
Cocktails are aptly themed around the games available to play at the venue, with cheeky names such as the ‘Long Island Iced Tee’, Tiki-themed ‘Ship Faced’ and an ionic ‘Axepresso Martini’.
Boom Battle Bar CEO, Richard Harpham, commented: “We’re delighted to be opening bookings for our epic-new Manchester venue. Spanning across multiple levels and packed full of our most sort after games including Axe Throwing, Augmented Reality Darts and karaoke booths which fit up to 15 people, we just know the people of Manchester are going to love this venue and the ultimate competitive thrill BOOM has to offer.”
The opening was originally announced last year, and will form part of Manchester Printworks whopping £22m refurbishment, which will see the entertainment complex given a brand new look and a digital makeover.
Boom Battle Bar will open on June 17th, and bookings are open here.
