We’re feeling pretty festive already, and plenty of spots in the city are joining in on the Christmas fun this year, too. Now, a giant winter wonderland is set to launch in the Spinningfields area of Manchester on Friday 15th November transforming the former Iberica site into a Christmas immersive experience ahead of the festive season, called A Miracle on the Avenue.
A Miracle on the Avenue will see the space re-designed by Visual Architects bringing a winter oasis to the heart of Spinningfields. With impressive sleighs, giant candy canes, a Santa’s Grotto, a selection of immersive games as well as a large seating area, the 400-capacity space will be open seven days a week from 12pm until 1am.
Food and drinks will also be served with a special food hatch serving bratwurst and currywurst sausages, a selection of German-market inspired sides, and a number of desserts such as crêpes and waffles with all of the toppings. The drinks menu will be packed full of festive favourites including mulled wine, Bailey’s hot chocolate with a twist, £300 Dom Perignon Champagne and a selection of beers available to purchase in steins.
A Miracle on the Avenue is set to take place every year across different units within the Spinningfields estate, and for its first year will be based at 14-15 The Avenue. A Miracle on the Avenue will be joining the Spinningfields Christmas celebrations at the likes of the Lawn Club, The Ivy and plenty more in the surrounding area, like Winter Assembly at St Johns.
A Miracle on the Avenue will launch on November 15 and run until December 31, closing with a New Year’s Eve celebration bash. Tables can be booked by messaging @MiracleOnTheAvenue on Instagram.
📍 A Miracle on the Avenue will be located at 14-15 The Avenue, Spinningfields, Manchester.
