1. Peaky Blinders
Peaky Blinders is taking it all the way back to the 20’s for their New Year’s Eve party, with a fun, Gatsby-style party packed full of fizz, entertainment and a mouth-watering five-course menu. Expect dancers, live music and all-round party vibes for the final hurrah of 2023. Tuck into moreish canapés such as crayfish tarts, rosemary polenta bites and pork belly skewers on the gala menu then finish the evening on a high with some digestivos to cleanse the palate and the past year.

2. King Street Townhouse
Iconic Manchester hotel, King Street Townhouse, is hosting a magical night to remember this New Year’s Eve. Close out the 2023 party season in your finest black-tie glad rags, with an enchanted forest theme, celebratory champagne and a DJ. Each ticket includes champagne and canapés on arrival, a glass of champagne at midnight, as well as a festive hot drink, and petit fours. 3. Warehouse Project
The Warehouse Project’s 2023 season is in full flow, and of course, they have a grand celebration planned for New Year’s Eve. Taking over the three staple stages at Depot Mayfield, the line-up across Depot, Concourse and Archive for New Year‘s Eve has been revealed.
The mighty Depot welcomes RUDIM3NTAL, who will be debuting a brand new show, plus an array of dance music stalwarts including DJ EZ, Hannah Wants, Paul Woolford, Jaguar, and Alex Mills. The unique 360° Concourse stage welcomes awe-inspiring talents with the likes of Sammy Virji, Girls Don’t Sync, La La, Rich Reason, and Ghoulish. Under the arches, the intimate Archive stage welcomes further UK talents including Hammer, Hayley Zalassi, Gina Breeze, as well as WHP residents Krysko and Joe Motion.

4. Albert’s Schloss
Saying auf wiedersehen to 2023, Albert’s Schloss has planned a big blow out in true Schloss style, Kunst Cabaret, Gogo dancers and interactive promenade actors in tow. Expect a packed out showtime schedule from 7pm on the night, with the party going on until the early hours on New Year’s Day. If you’ve not been to Schloss before, expect fantastic cocktails, German biers, live bands and fantastic cabaret-style shows.
Don your finest glad rags and prop up the bar or pile on the dancefloor, this is going to be a New Year countdown you’ll never forget! 5. The Refuge
Slip on those dancing shoes and shimmy into those sequins as The Refuge is set to turn up the heat with an awe-inspiring New Year’s Eve party – think Studio 54, but make it Mancunia! This year The Refuge will be dialling up the disco with a takeover from Manchester music institutions, Sticky Heat and Supernature Disco, plus all the fabulousness and vibes provided by The Family Gorgeous. Of course, there’ll be lots more surprises in store, which will be revealed closer to the night…

6. The Blues Kitchen
Soundtrack your New Year’s Eve with the sounds of classic soul and funk by the legendary Blues Kitchen house band in Manchester who will hit the stage for three live sets of soulful bangers. Expect classics from the likes of Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and more, followed by DJs playing timeless dance floor grooves until 3am.
For those looking to celebrate the dawn of 2024 over a meal, tuck into some of the greatest Southern-inspired dishes; from the infamous Buffalo Chicken Wings, to Cheeseburger Spring Rolls, Smoked Baby Back Ribs and Philly Cheese Steak. 7. 20 Stories
Taking the new year to new heights, 20 Stories is set to wave away 2023 in style – with a party in the sky like no other. Spanning across their stunning bar and restaurant and welcoming terrace, guests are invited to enjoy a spectacle of a five-course dinner, before partying the night away to live music until the early hours of January 1st. Welcoming guests from 8pm, dinner will be served with stunning dishes alongside cocktails, wine flights and fizz. Lunch, evening dining and drinks only in the evening are also available.

8. Sexy Fish
New to Manchester this year, Sexy Fish is ready to celebrate the year with a captivating New Year’s eve party called ‘Sirens of the Midnight Sea’. In true Sexy Fish opulence, diners will be mesmerised by live entertainment, surreal performances and a spectacular countdown at midnight. From 8pm, seated guests will experience a premium tasting menu and a glass of Champagne, whilst from 9pm, partygoers will be invited to join the celebrations from the surroundings of the destination bar.

9. Boom Battle Bar
Calling all Barbies and Kens! It’s only right we celebrate the year of pink in style and Boom Battle Bar in Manchester is going big. The Printworks venue will be transformed into a pink utopia to host a New Year’s Eve party to remember. On the night expect to step into a fully decorated venue, sip on a pink-themed menu with specials including a strawberry flavoured Barbie Dream Margarita and a Cloud Nine featuring pink gin and topped with cotton candy, then dance the night away with their resident DJ playing until late. 10. Thomas Street Takeover
Five bars – five drinks – one party – sounds like an epic New Year’s Eve in Manchester! The Thomas Street takeover includes partying at Wolf At The Door, The Bay Horse Tavern, Cane & Grain, Liquor & Burn and The Smithfield Social. Choose between either a £25 or £30 wristband to get involved with the Northern Quarter’s biggest and best shared party yet. A £25 wristband will get you a drink in each bar, whilst the £30 one will upgrade you to a cocktail at each venue. 11. Red Light
Cult favourite LGBTQ+ cocktail bar nestled within the neighbourhood of Kampus, is hosting a New Year’s Eve event hosting guests until late. Red Light will introduce dancers, DJs and the opportunity to leave your mark on their mirrors with lipstick whilst welcoming in the New Year. Alongside their extensive and well crafted cocktail menu there will be a selection of wines and lots of fizz to enjoy.

12. The Jane Eyre
Ancoats based restaurant and bar The Jane Eyre will be serving up their festive Christmas menu of small plates as well as some specials until 9pm, after which they have a busy night ahead full of live music. A one night only DJ takeover from Stells Selections begins from 10pm, taking everybody through to the arrival of 2024. They’re suitably stocked up on fizz, beers, and wine – and have their famous cocktail list ready to help you celebrate without ever feeling empty handed. 13. Mean-Eyed Cat and Tiki Hideaway
To celebrate the new year, Mean-Eyed Cat and Tiki Hideaway in the Northern Quarter are both open until 6am with free entry. Welcome in the new year with an epic Tiki celebration or come in and sin and welcome 2024 with a raucous bang! At Tiki Hideaway you can dance under the enchanting full moon party vibes with incredible festive cocktails, party tunes and shots all night long. 14. Habas
To kick off the New Year (and new beginnings) celebrations, tasty Middle Eastern restaurant in Manchester, Habas, is offering 25% off across all food and drink on New Year’s Eve to say a fond farewell (for now). Whether you’re planning a low-key catch up, or making it one to remember – say goodbye to 2023 with a host of delicious mezze dishes including spiced peppers and Maldon salt, and traditional tzatziki with freshly baked pitta bread, sharing platters and small plates, such as chicken tagine and braised lamb Pommes Anna. 15. Freight Island
Freight Island will be transformed into a New Year’s Eve extravaganza, The Little Disco, from the creators of the much-loved disco collective La Discothèque. On the evening of December 31, The Little Disco is set to take over the platform from 8pm. Headlining the free to attend party is one of dance music’s most revered DJs and a Chicago staple, Jamie 3:26. Alongside the disco and house legend, The Little Disco is joined by some of Manchester’s finest talents including Mix-Stress, Sharples B2B and Joe Roche. And for those feeling peckish, guests can enjoy delicious food from its existing traders.

16. Ducie Street Warehouse
Bringing all kinds of fun to the Northern Quarter this New Year’s Eve is Ducie Street Warehouse. Kicking things off from 6pm until late, Ducie Street Warehouse has invited its resident artists, including DJs and live performers, to soundtrack the evening. The line-up features local acts Nathan B, Chevone S Duo, Esme H, Martin C, and Zeyla. For those feeling peckish, Ducie Street Warehouse is also hosting an all-day Sunday Roast on December 31, from 1pm until 6pm, and selected menu is available from 6pm onwards. On the following day, on New Year’s Day, January 1, an all-day brunch is available from 10am until 5pm.

18. Bundobust
Bundobust has announced their plans to celebrate New Year’s Eve with DJs, a late night menu and drinks until late at their Manchester brewery site. The Bundobust Brewery kitchen will be serving up a food from 9pm ’til late including never before seen Bundo does chips. Party drinks will be flowing all night with cocktails, beers from Bundobust Brewery and fizz. Plus, for the very first time Bundo is doing bottomless brunch, featuring Desi spins on brunch classics and will be available at their Piccadilly site, 10am-3pm on New Year’s Eve.

19. Homoelectric
The people over at Homoelectric are ready and primed to finish off 2023 with a bang, with their New Year’s Eve party at the stunningly refurbished New Century in Manchester. Since 2019, the team at Homoelectric has pushed to create parties where there are no entry requirements as they strive to make sure there’s space for you. Now, in 2023, Homoelectric are back, and the night promises to be the perfect amount of flamboyance and flair. Party goers can expect a star-studded line-up headlined by DJ Artwork and DJ Paulette with the support of the full gang of Homoelectric residents including Jamie Bull, Gina Breeze, Will Tramp and Lukas.
20. Finders Keepers
The waterside neighbourhood bar which arrived at New Islington Marina in 2023, Finders Keepers, is set to host a fun-filled disco to celebrate New Year’s Eve. The Studio 54-themed bash will see the drinks spot serving up a special menu of disco classics – complete with retro cocktails, disco balls, sequins and plenty of dancing. Plus, a free glass of fizz at midnight.

21. Peru Perdu
With its flickering candles, hanging plants and trailing botanicals, Peru Perdu in Manchester is the perfect place to dine this New Year’s Eve. Diners can choose from an array of dishes on the à la carte menu within ceviche and raw plates, small and sharing plates, steaks or main courses.
Stand-out options include; Tuna Pica – a ceviche dish with watermelon, ponzu dressing, sriracha sauce and micro herbs; Steak Empanadas – a small plate, baked to order with green olives, egg, red onion and served with herbed chimichurri sauce; Ancho or rib-eye steak, served with fries, salad and your choice of sauce (the in-house Chimmi being their best-seller); and Pollo Asado – a main dish, marinated corn-fed half chicken, cooked over charcoal, with fries & coriander mojo dressing. Ramona and sister restaurant The Firehouse are set to come together for one huge party this New Year’s Eve. Expect fun across the tipi, the dance tent and the MOT station alongside live percussion takeovers from Afriquo + DJ sets from DJ Wheel Up + ALPS2, plus copious margaritas to be had.
