It might be an understatement to say that padel has become pretty popular over the last couple of years, and if you’re one of the many that has gotten the bug for this hybrid racquet sport, you’ll know just how addictive (and fun) it can be. Padel began as a creative twist on tennis in Mexico, combining elements of tennis and squash into a fast-paced, easy-to-pick-up game. Since then, it has spread rapidly across Europe – especially in Spain – thanks to its sociable feel and low barrier to entry. Manchester has most definitely welcomed padel with open arms, so much so that we can’t keep up with all the places there are to play it. Here’s our guide to the best places to play padel in Manchester, if you too are looking to give it a go.
