With a stacked summer of sport coming our way, we can’t wait to be inspired once again to lace up our football boots and don a tennis skirt after having watched the pros do what they do best. Manchester is set to be full of screenings, allowing us to get into the spirit all together, and one area of the city centre that’s doing just that is Screen on the Square at New Jackson.
Get ready for a summer of free open-air cinema at Screen on The Square, opening this weekend in the heart of the city centre. Launching at New Jackson, Renaker’s world-class skyscraper district and thriving new neighbourhood nestled at the southern gateway to the city, Screen on the Square will run from Saturday 21st June – Sunday 14th September, offering a packed programme of films, sporting and cultural events.
From Wimbledon and the Women’s Euros, to Glastonbury and a whole roster of blockbuster films for the whole family – and some just for the adults – there’s plenty to get your teeth into this summer at Screen on the Square.
