‘Tis almost the season, shall we say. The Warehouse Project season that is. One of the world’s famous nightclubs, The Warehouse Project, has announced the line-up for Repercussion, its formative opening season party, which will return this autumn. Kicking off from September 14, Repercussion is a day-to-night party marking the official start of The Warehouse Project 2024 season and will be showcasing a vast music curation from some of electronic music’s most revered acts.
Celebrating dance music in all its forms, Repercussion will take over multiple stages, including the three main rooms at Depot Mayfield – Depot, Concourse, and Archive. Plus, additional stages at the legendary Star & Garter pub, Temperance Street, the Plant Room at Freight Island and a brand-new addition for WHP24, On The Roof above Depot Mayfield.
The mighty Depot at the nightclub is set to play host to headliners Bonobo and Jungle. Master of electronic and beyond, Bonobo, who is fresh off his recent Outlier showcase at The Warehouse Project’s first ever Australia edition, is set to bring another explorative set to Repercussion this year. The British dance music project Jungle is set to perform live and round off their world tour following their successful fourth album ‘Volcano’ released last summer.
An esteemed line-up complete the Depot, including Peruvian DJ, Producer and Vocalist Sofia Kourtesis, DJ Seinfeld, the emerging Austrian-born, Manchester-based salute, alongside the mysterious act that has burst onto the jazz-house scene berlioz (DJ), and NTS radio host and Mancunian Tarzsa.
The unique 360° booth at Concourse is set to welcome a blend of cross-genre sets, curated by Honey Dijon who will bring in her brazen style of all genres and her Chicago influence. The line-up features Major League DJz, DESIREE, Josh Caffé, Rhythm Section’s founder Bradley Zero, Parisian DJ/Producer and multi-instrumentalist Chloé Caillet, and The Warehouse Project’s longest-standing resident, Krysko.
Under the archway at Archive, the city’s music venue YES takes over the stage to celebrate contemporary UK club music. Manchester very own Anz is set to lead the way, alongside sets from some of underground heroes Hamdi, Bakey, Love Remain, Aletha, Tañ, and Jim Bane.
The Warehouse Project will also be debuting a brand new stage at Repercussion, On The Roof above Depot Mayfield – an intimate Loft space paired with rare views of Manchester’s skyline, this stage is set to be a new favourite. The lively set up will be hosted by Luke Una presents É Soul Cultura who will be DJing alongside the likes of deep house pioneer Chez Damier, Chilean artist Paula Tape who returns after her Boiler Room set at Repercussion 2022 and Manchester’s own rising star, DJ and Producer, Joey T.
Extending the stage to adjoining Temperance Street, Manchester-based party collective Habitat is set to present their biggest street party with Dutch artist Jarreau Vandal headlining alongside Moluccan-via-Dutch artist JAEL and London-based Taylah Elaine. Joined by Habitat residents Yung_omz, AK Gramm, Tone Rarri, and all hosted by one of Manchester’s favourite presenters Faro.
Manchester’s legendary pub venue, Star & Garter, which features a mural of Ian Curtis adorned on the side of the pub, is set to play host to the city’s ‘newest online community radio station Crop Radio. Headliner Dar Disku is invited as Crop Radio completes the line-up with grassroots acts from in and around Manchester. This stage also welcomes the likes of Oldboy, Korzi, Zuri, atalaya, Bunney, Charms, mamba.exe, and many more. All hosted by Charlie Boy Manson and EMBY.
Also participating at Repercussion, the Plant Room at Freight Island is another celebration of the expansive local underground heroes. With acts from SNO, Mikey D.O.N, Levi Love, Me Gusta Collective, Sam Redmore & Joe Motion, and Shimrise.
