A Spooky Halloween Takeover With A Circus, Street Food And A Maze Is Coming To The Trafford Centre

The popular Summer Social has had a spooktacular makeover.

After seeing huge success with their Summer Social takeover, the Trafford Centre has announced a brand new family-friendly event – this time, with a seriously spooky twist. Coming just in time for Halloween, SPOOKFEST will bring an array of activities for all ages to enjoy, with plenty of food and drink also available to accompany.

Taking place outside of The Orient, opposite The Great Hall entrance, SPOOKFEST will kick off on October 11 right up until October 31, bringing the Halloween vibes to town by the bucketload. Bringing back a number of elements that both visitors and celebrities loved at Summer Social, guests will be able to enjoy an array of fairground rides, some fantastic local food traders –  including Epic Pizza, Old School Dogs and Cha Cha Chai – as well as fun attractions such as a spooky ghost train, escape rooms, ‘hook a pumpkin’ and even a scary hay bale maze.

In addition to all of that, a family-friendly Halloween Spooktacular big top show has also been planned, with spine-chilling performances spilling into the Centre, too, including fun dances, freaky cocktails and tons of treats that will be available across some of the Trafford Centre’s many restaurants.

The little ones will also be able to enjoy some Trick or Treat fun, too, with a trail of treats taking place on October 28th. Guests will be able to pick up a free Halloween bucket from the customer service desk, before heading out into the centre scouring shops and restaurants across the centre for treats.

Zoe Inman, Centre Director, said: “Celebrate the spooky season in style! SPOOKFEST promises some frightful fun for both grown-up thrill-seekers and little monsters, offering something for everyone this Halloween. Enter if you dare!”

Opening hours from 11–22 October are 2pm-8pm Monday-Friday, 11am-8pm Saturday and 12pm-8pm Sunday. From 23-31 October, opening hours will be 11am-9pm Monday-Saturday and 12pm-9pm Sundays. The big top show will open 15-31 October, with tickets available here.

There is a £3.50 entry fee (£3 if booked in advance) to SPOOKFEST, with rides priced individually and token packages available to buy. Pre-booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
