The easiest Veganuary ever.
Cheering up not only lockdown, but Veganuary for those who are participating this year, Rudy’s Pizza has launched three brand new pizzas – all of which are completely plant-based. The pizzas have been designed as the perfect detox following an indulgent Christmas period and will be welcome news to vegan fans of the Ancoats-born pizza spot.
Following in the footsteps of their core menu, the new pizzas are all made using the authentic Neapolitan tradition of pizza making and will be available to purchase as part of the pizzeria’s popular ‘Bake at Home’ range.
Consisting of a new creation by one of Rudy’s longest standing pizzaiolos, Peppe, the range includes a butternut squash base pizza topped with roquito peppers, green chillies, tender stem broccoli, red onions, basil, thyme and pine nuts – as well as vegan spins on popular pizzas Calabrese and Ortolana. The Calabrese is topped with preserved black bean N’duja, celeriac ‘ricotta’, fresh basilâ and San Marzano tomatoes, while the Ortolana consists of San Marzano tomatoes, roasted butternut squash, red onions, toasted pine nuts, fresh chilli and sundried tomatoes.
The Vegan range joins Rudy’s existing ‘Bake At Home‘ options Margherita Con Bufala, Calabrese, Portobello and Carni, with each 13-inch pizza priced at just £6.90 each. The Vegan Ortolana and Peppe’s special will also be available for collection at all Rudy’s restaurants.
