Great news for South Manchester dwellers.
Following exponential success at both Manchester sites in Ancoats and on Peter Street, Rudy’s is casting their Manc net a little wider – this time, heading to the South Manchester suburbs.
Securing a brand new site in Sale, on Northenden Road, the much-loved pizzeria will be serving up its famous authentic Neapolitan pizzas for residents south of the city to enjoy – with an opening date currently set for October this year, according to the Manchester Evening News.
In recent years, the family-founded restaurant – which was named after the owner’s dog – has achieved nationwide success, seeing successful launches in Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds and now with their popular bake at home pizzas which are available for UK home delivery.
Fans of the pizzeria, including ourselves, found Rudy’s facing their usual popularity during lockdown, with many city residents taking to Deliveroo to get a slice of their delicious pizzas – which were actually voted the best in the UK and tenth best in the world in the past year.
Rudy’s will join a number of other success restaurants based in South Manchester, including Altrincham-born Sugo Pasta Kitchen and Didsbury’s Volta.
