Marking Manchester’s official start of Christmas, the UK’s first grilled cheese restaurant, Northern Soul, has announced the grand return of its beloved Crimbo Dinner grilled cheese. The Crimbo Dinner grilled cheese is back on the menu at its Tib Street restaurant, and just waiting for the Manc masses to come down and devour.
Stacked high with fillings such as turkey, cranberry, stuffing, gravy and delicious cheese oozing from the Christmas raclette, the cult favourite sandwich is joined by an array of other festive bites, including ‘Mushroom and Onion Stout’ grilled cheese or ‘Brie wish u a Merry Christmas’ (oozy brie, smoked streaky bacon and cranberry sauce with clementine and festive spice).
Notably absent from the Manchester Christmas Markets this year, the popular grilled cheese restaurant is opting for Christmas at home in the Northern Quarter, bringing a cosy feel to the season.
On this year’s festive menu, you’ll find an entire section dedicated to dishes topped off with cheese from the raclette, the theatre of which is performed in front of your eyes, ensuring the liquid cheese covers every ich of pickles, chips, bread and whatever else you fancy.
You can also dig into some festive cocktails including the Turkish Delight and The McLane Sour, inspired by Christmas (or not) classic, Die Hard. There’s also, of course, Northern Soul merchandise available at the restaurant, so whilst you enjoy the Crimbo Dinner grilled cheese, you can even get some Christmas shopping done!
Northern Soul will also be serving up fried pickles, festive mac ‘n’ cheese dishes, fries, loaded waffles, wings and their classic grilled cheese sandwiches. The Christmas menu at Northern Soul, including the Crimbo Dinner grilled cheese, is available to order today at their Tib Street restaurant.
