Popular athletic apparel brand lululemon has opened another store in Greater Manchester, this time in none other than the North West’s biggest retail and leisure destination, The Trafford Centre. Alongside lululemon’s new Trafford Centre flagship, the brand has also launched a pop-up padel court for a limited time only, inviting visitors to swap shopping bags for a racket and experience something new.
Whether you’re a seasoned player or picking up a racket for the very first time, the lululemon pop-up court at the Trafford Centre offers the perfect opportunity to discover why padel has become the UK’s fastest-growing sport this summer. Fast-paced, easy to learn and designed for doubles, visitors can enjoy a friendly match, a family outing or a post-work game with colleagues at the pop-up court.

When is the lululemon x Trafford Centre padel court open?
From Friday 10th July to Thursday 23rd July, visitors can play a game of padel at the Trafford Centre, outside the Great Hall. The lululemon x Trafford Centre padel court is open daily from 10am until 10pm.
Players can book one-hour sessions through the Playtomic app, costing £36 per session. Guests are encouraged to arrive ten minutes before their booking to check in ahead of play.

Simon Layton, Centre Director at Trafford Centre, said: “We’re always looking for new ways to bring exciting experiences to Trafford Centre, and this partnership with lululemon does exactly that. Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world and has built an incredible following across Greater Manchester. Bringing a premium court to the heart of our destination gives visitors the opportunity to experience this sport in a fun, accessible way while celebrating the opening of lululemon’s fantastic new flagship store.”
The Trafford Centre, which is home to 280 brands including Selfridges, John Lewis, Zara, Next, Marks & Spencer, and a 20-screen ODEON cinema, welcomes 30 million visitors every year.
