Global apparel retailer UNIQLO has announced it will be opening a second Manchester store this autumn. The brand’s new store will be located in the region’s landmark shopping centre, The Trafford Centre, making Manchester the first city outside of London to have two UNIQLO locations.
What to expect at the new UNIQLO Trafford Centre store
The Trafford Centre store will offer the brand’s full range across women’s, men’s, kids and babies, with a focus on versatile wardrobe essentials that combine comfort, style and functionality. From everyday basics to seasonal must-haves, shoppers can discover pieces designed to suit modern lifestyles.

Whether refreshing everyday essentials or discovering new seasonal styles, UNIQLO says the new store in the Trafford Centre will offer something for everyone — bringing thoughtful, well-designed clothing closer to home for Manchester shoppers. UNIQLO’s new store will also feature the brand’s LifeWear collection, described as “simple, high-quality clothing designed to make everyday life better”.
Simon Layton, Centre Director at Trafford Centre said: “We’re thrilled to welcome UNIQLO to Trafford Centre. It’s a brand our visitors know and love, and its arrival brings even more choice for shoppers looking for stylish, high-quality everyday clothing. We’re looking forward to seeing Trafford Centre customers discover and enjoy the new store.”
The apparel brand has a total of more than 2,500 UNIQLO stores across the world, including Japan, Asia, Europe, and North America.
UNIQLO is set to join several new openings at the Trafford Centre, including Bunsik, Lululemon, Lindt, Footasylum, and Coach. For more information on Trafford Centre’s lineup of fashion brands, head here.
