Valentine’s Day can be a bit Marmite, with those who love love, and those who just don’t. For the former, there’s set to be a heartwarming surprise in Manchester for the day of love, in the form of secret love letters hidden around town for unsuspecting Mancs to find.
The love letter scheme, inspired by the Valentine’s tradition, has been set up by FOUND, the experience-led retail and leisure brand, to help you couple up with your favourite independent businesses in Victoria North, the newest development in the Red Bank area of town.
The Valentine’s Day cards will be hidden throughout Manchester City Centre on Wednesday 14th February (in case you were unsure), and will each contain an incredible prize to share with your loved one (or not), including:
- Pizza and wine for two at Green Arches
- Brunch for two at Foundation Coffee House
- Food and drink for two at GRUB
- Two cinema tickets for CULTPLEX at GRUB
- £30 voucher for the marketplace and BlackOwned Studio + Marketplace
- Valentines pastries and coffee for two at Half Dozen Other
Follow @_founduk on Instagram as they will be sharing clues throughout the day to get you even closer to winning these incredible prizes.
FOUND, has transformed Red Bank into a hotspot of some of Manchester’s most-loved independent restaurants and venues. These include Love Factory, BlackOwned Studio, Green Arches Brewery and Bar, Half Dozen Other bakery, Foundation Coffee and renowned spätzle restaurant, The Sparrows – as seen in the Michelin Guide, with the highly anticipated Fairfield Social Club also opening next month.
Nearby, MeadowSide also provides a wealth of community events for local residents and the wider city centre community, including an artisan market with stalls run by local, independent vendors.
Spread the love this Valentine’s Day and see if you can find any of the secret love letters around Manchester.
