From screening live matches on the big screen to hosting wild Christmas parties the new venue Love Factory in Manchester is as adaptative as spaces come. However, this July, Mancs will able to wander through a sea of independent stalls surrounded within the transformed warehouse behind the N.O.M.A district, as The Night Market returns to Manchester.
Having taken over Victoria Baths, the empty swimming pool that looks straight out of a Wes Anderson film, back in the autumn, The Night Market will take residence within the massive space of Love Factory. From the hours between 6pm and 11pm on July 7, the organisers will create the ultimate shopping experience meets an alternative festival night out.
Filling the entirety of this huge building with artisans to artists, jewellers to designers, bakers to candlestick makers (and so much more), The Night Market UK showcases the finest Mancunian small business talent with over 90 independent stalls. Add to this, their outside Street Food Village located under the stretch tent to feast on with fabulous Manchester based food trucks.
And on the mezzanine, where there will be experiential rooms to explore and if that wasn’t enough, they’ll be putting the Love Factory sound system to good use with a two live DJs, to soundtrack your late-night rummage through the very best that the North has to offer. Plus of course, Love Factory will have two large bars up and running so you can indulge in a bevvy or two.
Director Becc Sanderson said: “Discovering Love Factory was absolutely instrumental in bringing The Night Market UK back to Manchester! We were thrilled with the amazing response for our event last year, it’s always a joy to see so many people connecting with local small businesses, and finding this incredible space that could accommodate the demand for stalls and tickets comfortably just felt like kismet!”
