The perfect place for a BBQ.
Springing into bloom ready for the warm, August days, Little Heath Farm has confirmed their stunning sunflowers have finally popped up – creating a beautiful sea of golden-yellow across the farm. Created during lockdown just last year, the fields have provided an excellent slice of locals to enjoy, and now – as a result of its sheer popularity – the team is combining the beautiful sights with beautiful food.
Taking place every weekend throughout August, guests will be able to enjoy BBQ’d grub made with produce reared and made on the farm, with food available from 10am til 5pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Kicking off the barby with sausage or bacon rolls in the morning, guests will be able to kick off the day with a proper good breakfast, before switching over to hot dogs and burgers from lunchtime onwards. If that wasn’t all, there’ll be plenty of other refreshments available at the farm shop, too, which stocks vegetables, meat, plants and more from the farm.
Open now for visitors to enjoy, guests can visit the beautiful sunflower meadow for just £2pp (or £5 per car) – which is then put towards the conservation of the farm and National Trust site – and enjoy the homely BBQ for a limited time only.
The sunflower field can be found at School Ln, Dunham Massey, Altrincham, WA14 4SE. Dogs are welcome, too, however, must be kept on a lead at all times.
