Here’s our guide to the best February food and drink offers in Manchester to try out this month.
1. The Blues Kitchen
This February, The Blues Kitchen is launching an all-new Friday Happy Hour in Manchester, from 5pm to 7pm. The Blues Kitchen will be giving out 1,000 free chicken wings in personal portions, every Friday from February 2, with a constant flow of wings delivered to the bar floor to be enjoyed by anyone in attendance. Alongside the wings, guests can get into the Friday mood with a choice of £6 cocktails from across The Blues Kitchen’s entire cocktail menu. 2. The Black Friar
The Black Friar in Salford has brought back its popular festival dedicated to the magnificent pie for two months (and the coldest ones of the year too) so soothing and tasty that it might just convince you to put your shoes on, grab your coat and head out for some proper pub grub. Hosting the festival of pie up until the end of February, the pies at The Black Friar will be just £10 each all day Monday and between 12pm and 6pm Tuesdays to Fridays. And everyone is catered for. One of Simon Shaw’s Manchester restaurants, Canto, is also getting involved in the February food offers with a three small plates for £18 deal this time, serving Mediterranean-inspired dishes on their menu. The offer is available all day Sunday to Thursday, plus Fridays 12pm-5pm and Saturday 12pm-4pm and there are plenty of dishes to choose from to suit all tastes. 4. Dokes Pizzeria
The unbelievable January food offers at Prestwich pizzeria, Dokes, went down a treat and now the north Manchester spot is continuing these deals into February. Dokes is offering 30% off your total bill, which includes food as well as drinks, as well as serving Sunday roasts for £12. The 30% off your total bill is an absolute steal and available Wednesdays to Saturdays (excluding Valentine’s Day) when you quote ‘FEBRUARY 30%’ in the booking comments. 5. The Firehouse
The Firehouse has extended their fantastic offer into February, with 50% off their open fire kitchen menu. Available on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 4pm-9pm and Fridays 12pm-9pm, you can tuck into delicious chicken, pita, dips til your heart’s content. Bundobust are saying goodbye to tired sandwiches with their Bundobutties menu, available until February 11, 12pm – 4pm, across all Bundo venues. Plus, Bundobutties introduces two new vegan sandwiches, Vegan Vada Pav and Bhaji Butty, to spice up your weekday lunchtimes. Bundobust are offering their new specials as part of a meal deal, helping to save some pennies in February. This February WOOD will be continue their offer of three plates and a glass of wine for £25 throughout the month. The offer will run Tuesday to Friday evenings from 5pm as well as Thursday, Friday and Saturday lunches from midday (not available on Valentine’s Day or Saturdays after 3pm). Indulge in the likes of Truffled Mushroom Brioche toast, Stone Bass with Mirasol, Tomato Ponzu and Yuzu Sake, Sticky Beef Short-rib with Celeriac and Onion Embers, BBQ Maitake, Yorkshire Rhubarb and Custard as well as an old WOOD favourite available on the small plate menu for one month only – The Tunworth Tater. Guests at Victor’s absolutely loved their 50% off offer last year so much that the botanical restaurant had to bring back the special for 2024. Diners can enjoy 50% off their à la carte menu all day Monday to Thursday, until 5pm on Fridays and from 5pm on Sundays until February 4. 9. Manchester Wine Tours
Manchester Wine Tours offer visitors a guided tour around the city centre, where they’ll visit some of the best places to drink and buy wine in Manchester along the way. Better still, the wine tour company is offering 15% off on all February tours when you use the code BLUENUNDAY at checkout. Tours in 2024 are on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons 3pm-6:30pm and include six top-quality wines and four elite snacks across four Manchester venues as well as some Manchester history, a little walking and lots of wine chat.
The same owners of Dokes are also offering similar food offers at Manchester restaurant Elnecot with 30% off your total bill in February. The offer is available at Elnecot Monday to Saturday (excluding Valentine’s Day) at lunch and dinner, plus better still it can be applied to their bottomless brunch too! 11. The Mews
January has been tough on us all, so Manchester cheese spot The Mews is extending their 50% off food offers into February. The deal is available on their small plates menu and sharing boards but excludes their Sunday roasts (although you can enjoy a free carafe of wine for every two roasts booked). 12. Three Little Words
Manchester cocktail bar Three Little Words is not only offering 50% food but also 50% off cocktails and spirit mixers, making for a great (and cheaper) evening out. 13. Smithfield Social
February never looked so good and the beautiful Manchester restaurant Smithfield Social are adding to the offers with 50% off food on their day menu for February. Available Monday to Friday, midday until late, you’re going to want to run not walk there. Booking is recommended but not necessary and the brunch menu is not included in the deal. For anyone who missed out on the 50% offers in January, Manchester restaurant TNQ’s a la carte menu can still be enjoyed half price between Mondays and Fridays until February 13.
