Enticing us to get out and support our local hospitality businesses for another month, many bars and restaurants in Manchester have extended their epic food offers into February – and who are we to say no? Here’s our guide to the best February food and drink offers in Manchester to try out this month.
1. The Beeswing
The wine bar situated in Kampus has an weekday offer for you that’s available on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 4-9pm. To mark The Beeswing is offering a meat or cheese board with bread and a carafe of wine for just £25. The Beeswing, Kampus, 24a Minshull St, M1 3EF.
2. The Blues Kitchen
Joining the likes of Bunny Jackson’s and The Shack as another Manchester establishment serving finger-lickingly good bottomless chicken wings, The Blues Kitchen will kick off the event from Sunday 5th February and run every Sunday throughout the month. Between the hours of 12pm and 6pm, guests can feast on the bottomless wings slathered in buffalo sauce for only £12 per person or £20 for two people, served with a tasty blue cheese dip and celery. 3. The Black Friar
The Black Friar in Salford has brought back its popular festival dedicated to the magnificent pie for two months (and the coldest ones of the year too) so soothing and tasty that it might just convince you to put your shoes on, grab your coat and head out for some proper pub grub. Kickstarting the festival of pie from Tuesday 10th January right through until the end of February, the pies at The Black Friar will be just £10 each all day Monday and between 12pm and 6pm Tuesdays to Fridays. And what’s pie without mash? Diners can add creamy mash potato and seasonal greens for just £2.50.
4. Canto
One of Simon Shaw’s Manchester restaurants, Canto, is also getting involved in the February food offers with a three small plates for £18 deal this time, serving Portuguese and Mediterranean-inspired dishes on their menu. Available all day Sunday to Thursday and 12-5pm on Fridays, there are plenty of dishes to choose from to suit all tastes. Canto, Cutting Room Square, Blossom St, Ancoats, M4 5DH.
5. Ducie Street Warehouse
At Ducie Street Warehouse, you can enjoy 50% off their Something For Everyone Menu & Lounging Around Menu every Tuesday (excluding Valentines Day) this February. The restaurant team cherry-pick the best seasonal flavours and dishes, bringing something different to the table. The Something For Everyone Menu has dishes to share so you can avoid food FOMO and try a bit of everything or have it all to yourself! Ducie Street Warehouse, Ducie Street, M1 2TP.
6. Edinburgh Castle
After the success of their January food offers; the Manchester pub and restaurant is continuing their set menu into February. This will include two-courses for £30 or three-courses for £35 with a drink. Available on Wednesdays to Thursdays 5-6.30pm, Fridays and Saturdays 12-3pm and 5-6.30pm, bookings for the set menu offer can be made via their website. 7. El Gato Negro
El Gato Negro, Simon Shaw’s popular Spanish tapas restaurant will be making their three for £18 menus available all day every Sunday as well between 12pm and 4pm Monday to Friday throughout February – giving you more opportunities to try out their fantastic dishes for less. 8. The Firehouse
The Firehouse has extended their fantastic offer into February, with 50% off their open fire kitchen menu. Enjoy a cheaper night out every Wednesday and Thursday between 4pm and 9pm and on Fridays 12pm to 9pm when you book a table (groups up to 12 people) until February 10. 9. Habas
Similarly to sister restaurants El Gato Negro and Canto, Simon Shaw’s newest venue, Habas, will be serving two and three course menus for less – with their two course menu available to order for just £20 and their three course menu just £24. Available Tuesdays to Fridays, 5pm-10pm, it’s a great mid-week dinner date option this month. Habas, 43A Brown St, M2 2JJ.
10. Hawksmoor
Prime steak can be rather expensive, but what if you could enjoy it for less? Here to save us some cash but still eat out with a bit of luxury, Hawksmoor has a set menu where two courses only cost £25 and three courses for £28, which is available for reservations made between Monday and Saturday until 6.30pm and all day Sunday. Enjoy the likes of potted beef and bacon with Yorkshires, 35 day aged rump or fillet tail and sticky toffee sundae. Hawksmoor, 184 – 186 Deansgate, M3 3WB.
11. Homage at WOOD
From the 1st February Homage at WOOD will be offering its Taste of Homage menu at 50% off the price on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Evenings. That’s five cheeses and five wines for £25 per person. There will also be a new selection of three, six or nine cheeses and charcuterie available if you prefer to opt for their celebration of truly magnificent produce. From Truffled Baron to warm seductive Saint Marcellin with freshly baked Pettit pain sat alongside 55 wines available by the glass it is the perfect evening escape. 12. Liquor & Burn
Adding to the 50% off food bill offers is Northern Quarter‘s Liquor & Burn, which can be snapped up at the Manchester bar and restaurant through the month of February. Tuck into tasty tacos and burritos for less and be sure to wash it all down with their tasty margarita cocktails or their agave special- a spicy twist on a Negroni. Advanced booking is preferred, but the venue will also save space for walk-ins.
13. The Mews
January has been tough on us all, so Manchester cheese spot The Mews is extending their 50% off food offers for the first two weeks of February until February 12. Available every day excluding Saturdays and not including their fondue sadly, we Camembert to miss out on this tasty deal. The Deansgate Mews restaurant has even added a load of new dishes to their small plates menu including gochujang chicken bao buns, Spanish ‘pigs in blankets’ and patatas bravas for you to try. 14. Mira
With Mira now setting up home in the small shed at Sadler’s Cat in the NOMA district, the pop-up has a tasty treat for us all this February. 15. Purezza
Veganuary may be over but there’s always to recruit those friends who always say they’d love to be vegan, but never actually do it. For anyone who missed out on the 50% offers in January, Manchester restaurant TNQ’s a la carte menu can still be enjoyed half price between Mondays and Fridays until February 10.
