In true Ducie Street style, the uber-cool Northern Quarter warehouse is hosting an epic bank holiday party this weekend, including a delicious alfresco BBQ on the terrace with Manchester sausage champs, Grandad’s Sausages.
Taking place on their sun-soaked south-facing terrace, Grandad’s Sausages are set to sling the meatiest hot dogs all weekend long, kicking off on Friday 29th April right through until Sunday 1st May. And the best part? It’s not (currently!) forecast to rain! Rejoice!
Encasing each and every artisan pork gourmet hot dog in a locally baked brioche roll, the BBQ weekender will accompany an array of other fun events, including DSW’s weekly Disco Brunch , which this week will include resident DJs Justin Robertson, Massey, Muddy Feet and Marco Giannini, alongside delicious NYC-inspired brunch dishes and bottomless cocktails.
If that wasn’t enough already, there’ll be plenty more live music to enjoy, including sets from Sprechen Music, Ad Hoc Records, Beat Boutique and Nite School out on the terrace, Eastern Bloc’s Jim Bane in the warehouse this Friday night, alongside Beat Boutique and Tarzsa who’ll be bringing the beats inside the warehouse this Sunday.
For those looking for a little bit of a detox, the chefs will be cooking up a storm with their new ‘Recharge & Reset’ brunch menu designed especially for the weekend, boasting plates such as turmeric fried eggs and mango on french toast, alongside healthy moju shots and smoothies courtesy of The Green Lab. Guests will also be able to enjoy DSW’s incredible Sunday roast with sides, which boasts an entire menu dedicated to cauliflower cheese, as well as delicious Yorkshire pudding sandwiches stuffed with tasty roast beef.
Ducie Street Warehouse can be found at Ducie St, M1 2TP and is also home to Manc-loved bakery Gooey and Bread Flower.
