… It does, with what may be Manchester’s most unique Sunday lunch yet entering the scene. Launching at Ducie Street Warehouse last Autumn, the venue’s tasty Sunday menu not only offers up some pretty tasty dishes, but a ‘world first’, too, with the city’s (and probably the world’s) first-ever menu dedicated completely to Cauliflower Cheese.
Served all day from 12.30pm-8.30pm, guests can enjoy an array of cheesy side dishes alongside their roast, including cauli-cheeses topped with vintage cheddar, truffle, bacon Frazzles, blue cheese, macaroni, garlic and herb and so much more – with roasts up for grabs complete with cornfed chicken, beef sirloin, roasted leg of lamb or an ever-changing vegan option.
If that didn’t sound delicious enough already, keeping in theme with Ducie Street Warehouse’s social ethos, guests can also choose from an array of sharing roasts, which include a choice of harissa spiced whole chicken, miso-glazed whole fish, 800g Tomahawk beef, and a whole roasted ‘Ras el Hanout’ cauliflower. Each sharer comes complete with all the trimmings, including giant Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, seasonal veggies and, of course, the real star of the show: tasty, rich gravy.
In addition to all that, there are tons of other side dishes available to try, too, with highlights including pigs in blankets, stuffing balls, lobster mac and cheese, and extra Yorkshire puds.
Pre-booking for Sunday lunch at Ducie Street is open now here.
