It’s hard to find a USP in a city full of Neapolitan-inspired pizza restaurants, but Ciaooo Pizza managed to find one despite all that: burrata. Now if you’re a fan of cheese, let me tell ya, a bit of creamy burrata is a heavenly addition to any pizza – and it’s something that the pizza experts at Ciaooo have perfectly crafted since they opened back in 2018, bringing Rudy’s some stiff competition in the field.
Topping a majority of their stonebaked pizzas in the good stuff, Ciaooo boasts an entire menu full of burrata covered pizzas, adding a whole lot of extra flavour to the already-delicious Neapolitan pizza.
Served alongside Italian toppings such as N’duja, pancetta, mortadella and even pistachio cream, each pizza is served with a healthy dose of cheese (in addition to the burrata), including mozzarella, pecorina, and parmesan – making Ciaooo quite the cheese lover’s dream.
Elsewhere on the menu, guests can expect classic Neapolitan pizzas (sans burrata), alongside tasty sides such as deep-fried lasagne, N’duja and honey garlic bread, and show-stopping pizza specials that change on the reg (their most recent genius creation including tons of N’duja mac and cheese!).
If you weren’t stuffed already, the restaurant’s inventive specials spill out onto the dessert menu, too, with creations such as Lotus Biscoff dessert pizzas, burrata with Nutella (in true Ciaooo style, of course), and even sweet takes on their deep-fried ravioli. Ever-changing just like their special pizzas, guests can try something a little different on every visit.
Ciaooo can be found at 62-64 Swan St, M4 5JU, just a short walk away from Manchester’s bustling Northern Quarter.
