Home of the ‘most popular burger in Manchester‘, Salford-born Burgerism has now opened a branch in Gatley, Stockport. In an Instagram post announcing the new location, they said “Burgerism is now live in Gatley and we love our new home. We’ve found ourselves in a warm, friendly community and already seem to have lots of regulars dropping in to pick up their weekly fix.”
They continued: “Good stuff takes time. And we started this build last summer. Lots of great people got involved in the project. Some things went to plan. Some things went off course. But it was definitely fun”, mentioning “We’ve kept it typically stealth”, in reference to their secretive nature surrounding their recipes.
In terms of opening hours they say “Burgerism Gatley is smashing SEVEN DAYS a week, with lunchtime too from Fri-Sun (although we’ll be doing lunch seven days real soon). We’re available for pick up through our website or delivery through all the usual spots. We’ll also be adding a kiosk option soon for fans who’d like to order in store.”
And they sure have plenty of fans. In response to the news of their Stockport opening, Burgerism has received masses of support on social media. One fan writes “Honestly best thing to happen to Gatley for years!! Way too dangerous having you on our doorstep..” and another says “Had 3 burgerisms last week … didn’t realise you were open weekend lunch too. See you soon”.
There are also calls for Burgerism to expand even further, with pleas for branches in Wigan, Macclesfield, Warrington, Urmston and Stretford just in the first few comments of the Instagram announcement. It’s no surprise they have proved so popular, with their ridiculous menu consisting of only the best quality local produce, delivering mouthwatering results.
Although Burgerism serve the most amazing meaty burgers, including Beefed, Cheesed and the FreeBird chicken burger, they haven’t forgotten about the vegans and vegetarians that want to get in on the action. Their Veganed and Veggied burgers do not compromise on taste or quality, and pack the punch needed to satisfy that dirty burger craving.
With the original Burgerism location on a Salford industrial estate and their spot within Escape to Freight Island still standing, on top of the new addition in Gatley, it seems that these outrageously good burgers are taking over Manchester at a rapid rate; stay tuned for more!
You can find the new Burgerism store at 7 Stonepail Rd, Gatley, Cheadle, SK8 4EZ.
