Things are amping up at Circle Square this season, and judging by its string of announced new openings, it looks as though it might just be the city’s next hotspot.
Expanding further this Friday, the Oxford Road complex is set to gain a fried chicken joint ‘with a difference’, which promises tons of comfort food and delicious buttermilk fried chicken all under one roof.
After years of honing their recipe, the team behind Bird of Prey are finally set to open their first restaurant in Manchester (their hometown), where they’ll serve succulent chicken which is marinated in buttermilk overnight, before being double-dredged in flour and a secret blend of herbs and spices – which we have high hopes about given how long they’ve spent perfecting their craft.
In addition to their mouth-watering, signature buttermilk chicken, the restaurant also reckons they’ll be serving up Manchester’s hottest chicken wings, which are aptly dubbed the ‘insanity wings’ on the menu. Expect fried chicken sandwiches, wings, strips, sides and shakes alongside a newly developed buttermilk fried chicken and waffles breakfast menu, which will be available on the weekends from 9-12pm.
To accompany, guests will also be able to get stuck into moreish milkshakes, alongside nostalgic fountain sodas such as Irn Bru, Vimto, Sunkist and Pink Lemonade.
Sadaf Bukhari, Co-Owner of Bird of Prey said: “Bird of Prey is about incredible fried chicken and baskets of comfort food with great shakes, sodas and an awesome soundtrack. We are beyond delighted to be bringing our fried chicken to Manchester, this is the city we are from, and we can’t wait to throw open the doors and get frying at Circle Square.”
Bird of Prey will open its doors at Circle Square Friday 9th June and 12 noon.
