This summer Beavertown Brewery is taking its legendary Skulloon party to Hatch in Manchester, as part of a tour across the UK with its newly announced ‘Summer Collaboration Sessions‘, a series of cosmic summer parties hosted in venues across the country.
After kicking off in London and moving on to Brighton, the next stop after a quick party in Birmingham is at the beloved Hatch here in Manchester this Saturday, July 29 – expect a seismic surge of energy and incredible music.
Beavertown will be bringing together musicians from different genres at each venue to create a one-off sound. Mancunians will be treated to live music from Manchester-based MC and vibes queen OneDa, as well as recent collaborator and fellow Manc multi-genre DJ Mr. Scruff. The tunes will be blasting all afternoon before the headliners even start, with the decks being left in the capable hands of soul, house, disco and latin music DJ Scarlett O’Malley – what a divine mixture.
It wouldn’t be a Beavertown party without great beer on tap, and you can expect a selection of Beavertown’s finest brews at each location, with Neck Oil on tap in Manchester ensuring that you have everything you need to make the most of Planet Summer’s collision course.
Hatch is the perfect place to host the Beavertown party in Manchester, with its casual food hall atmosphere and specially created performance space. On a normal day the Oxford Road shipping container village is hopping, with cuisine from around the world, endless options of beverages, including its very own nano brewery, ÖL, and great chilled vibes, so the Beavertown party on Saturday is bound to paint the underside of the Mancunian Way, red.
The free event starting at 4pm will be held at Hatch, 103 Oxford Rd, M1 7ED and Beavertown’s Manchester Summer Collaboration Session is a non-ticketed event available for walk-ins only.
