At Arcade Club, you can escape reality and step back in time to the golden age of arcade gaming and experience the nostalgia of classic arcade games and pinball machines. Spread across four floors of the industrial mill, you’ll find every possible arcade game or video game you can think of, from the long lost classics, dance floors, rhythm games, bizarre rarities, amusements you never knew existed and brand new imports you won’t find anywhere else.
What started with owner Andy Palmer’s private collection of 30 arcade machines at the back of his computer shop in Haslingden, Lancashire, has now expanded to more than 400 games and attractions at the Bury arcade alone. Better still, every game at Arcade Club is to free to play.

What you can find at Arcade Club in Bury
The game library at Arcade Club puts some book libraries to shame, as it boasts a collection of games across 1,000 machines from the 70s, 80s and 90s, as well as more modern ones. You’ll find a host of modern arcade games, consoles, gaming PC rigs and and even virtual reality to satisfy all your gaming needs inside this huge venue.
At Arcade Club at Ela Mill in Bury, you’ll find retro game consoles such as Nintendo 64, PC Engine, PlayStation, Sega Saturn and Xbox as well as massive cabinets like their twin sit-down deluxe Outrun 2. You’ll find quirky, lesser-known games as well as more immersive experiences like a hurricane simulator.

The arcade is also home to a gaming-themed lounge where people can gather and try new technologies like VR while enjoying hot food and drinks. You’ll also find rhythm games, Versus City fighting cabs and a dedicated pinball machine room, alongside a fully-stocked bar and a dining area serving burgers, pizzas, hot dogs and nachos to fuel your gaming session.

Floor 2 of Arcade Club Bury is event and tournament-focussed, with networked PCs, modern consoles and a broadcast stage with a 185″ screen. How much does it cost to visit Arcade Club in Bury?
No matter how long you choose to stay at Arcade Club Bury, entry costs £10 for children, £18 for adults and £46 for a family pass (two adults and two children). However, once inside all games are free to play, with no need for coins or tokens.
You can also become an Arcade Club VIP and purchase a monthly Arcade Club pass, which allows you to visit us as much as you like for one, two or three months. Monthly memberships start from £23 for children and £49 for adults.

Is the arcade available for private hire?
If you’ve ever wanted to experience having your own arcade, well, you can… for a few hours at least. Arcade Club is a great venue if you’re looking to host a party or private event and all four floors are available to hire from £395.
Whether it’s a birthday party, corporate event, team-building day-out or Christmas party, you’ll have access to hundreds of games to play for free, as well as a fully-licensed bar and in-house kitchen to keep every hydrated and fuelled. Opening hours
During the summer holidays, Arcade Club is open from 11am every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 24th July to 31st August. Outside of summer holidays, the arcade is open from 4pm until 11pm, every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Visitors must be over 18 years old to visit on Friday evenings after 6pm.

Arcade Club is a 17-minute walk from Bury Interchange, where buses and trams run to and from Manchester city centre. If travelling by car, the arcade is around a 30-minute drive from Manchester city centre and parking is available at Ela Mill for customers.
