You Can Now Get Paid £200 To Eat Gregg’s Festive Bakes And Christmas Sandwiches

Imagine having ‘Festive Food Tester’ on your CV.

We may have written off 2020 as the worst year yet, but this year has brought us some insane dream job roles to apply for, from selling books in the Maldives to running the ancient city of Pompeii as well as testing chocolate and baked goods. And now, there is another position up for grabs to be a festive food tester, just in time for the festive season.

One of the most exciting things in the run-up to Christmas is the limited-edition festive menus which many of our favourite chains offer – from seasonal sandwiches and drinks to pastries filled with festive ingredients. Well, if you’re a big fan of festive treats then this job could be for you. MoneyBeach.co.uk is looking for a takeaway-loving, crazy-for-Christmas individual to be a Festive Food Tester by trying a range of items from the nation’s favourite restaurants, shops and takeaways. Plus, you can do this from the comfort of your own home!

The restaurant and takeaway insurance website will give the successful applicant a £75 voucher to order a range of Yuletide yumminess from places like Greggs, KFC, Costa Coffee and McDonalds. It is a fully remote task, as all delicious items will be ordered via delivery apps like Deliveroo, UberEats and Just Eat. Working from home never tasted so good!

To discover which of these festive foods are officially the best, and which are a festive fail, the festive food tester will sample a range of Christmas dishes, snacks and drinks and review them based on taste, value for money and– most importantly – how Christmassy it makes them feel. All the information from the tester’s reviews will be used to officially crown the best festive food in the UK.

To inspire some merry munchings, MoneyBeach.co.uk has crunched the data to discover the most popular festive foods in the UK based on Google searches. The findings revealed that the Greggs Festive Bake is the most searched for limited-edition Christmas food.

The UK’s Top 10 Most Popular Festive Foods:

1. Greggs Festive Bake – 9,375 average searches
2. Starbucks Eggnog Latte – 2,500 average searches
3. Pret Christmas Sandwich – 2,090 average searches
4. Starbucks Gingerbread Latte – 1,252 average searches
5. Starbucks Toffee Nut Latte – 1,010 average searches
6. Marks & Spencer Christmas Sandwich – 650 average searches
7. Tesco Christmas Sandwich – 357 average searches
8. Greggs Mint Hot Chocolate – 342 average searches
9. Sainsbury’s Christmas Sandwich – 262 average searches
10. Waitrose Christmas Sandwich – 202 average searches

Applications are now open to anyone over the age of 18 in the UK, and those wishing to apply will need to detail why they feel they are right for the job. Plus, the potential festive food tester must be in the delivery zones for at least one of the three delivery services – Deliveroo, UberEats or Just Eat.

Applications close on Wednesday 16 December 2020.
