I love holidays such as Christmas, Easter and Valentine’s Day for one reason and one reason only: chocolate. Which is exactly why I’m adding World Chocolate Day to my annual calendar.
Taking place this July 7th, 20 Stories is set to host quite the celebration for the global event, infusing plenty of chocolate into a four-course tasting menu specially designed for the day. Served in their restaurant in the sky, guests will be able to take in the unbeatable views of the city while indulging in delectable dishes, which are set to get sweeter (in more ways than one!) as each course goes on.
Starting as they mean to go on, 20 Stories will serve up a dish of white chocolate with olive oil and caviar, before moving on to more savoury dishes such as pigeon breast with cherry and chocolate porter sauce, braised pork belly with alliums and mole negro sauce (which is made with chocolate, chillies and prunes), and finally, a delectable chocolate mousse served with caramelised white chocolate, almond, blackberry and clotted cream ice cream. A truly luxurious way to mark the occasion.
In addition to the chocolate-themed menu, guests will also be able to enjoy fantastic Nyetimber wine, alongside 20 Stories’ fantastic cocktail menu.
Tickets are on sale now for just £55 per person, and you can pick yours up here.
