The summer of sport continues as the biggest sporting event on the planet is well underway. The Olympics are taking place across the Channel in Paris this year, and although it’s a relatively easy journey for us Brits, it’s safe to say the majority of are watching from home. 1. Ducie Street Warehouse
Grab your mates, a drink and a bite at Ducie Street as the eating, drinking and entertainment destination screens the Olympic Games this summer. Ducie Street Warehouse is the ultimate Summer Of Sport hotspot, having screened the Euros, Wimbledon, and now the Olympic Games, so whether you’re cheering on your team, watching that ace serve, or rooting for the gold, they’ve got you covered.
Ducie Street is screening the Olympics most days until August 10, and is operating on a walk-in only basis, but you can bet it’s one of the more classy spots to watch the 2024 Olympics in Manchester.

2. The Lawn Club Official Fanzone
The Manchester Olympics Fanzone is located at The Lawn Club in Spinningfields, an airy urban oasis amidst the lush greenery of Hardman Square. It boasts a large, raised outdoor deck with ample seating, perfect for watching all the action on the big screen. Here, you can enjoy an all-day food and drinks menu featuring everything from sharing boards and burgers to craft beers and cocktails.

3. Courts Club
Known as Courts Club, the brand new basketball and tennis-inspired bar in Manchester is serving up sport via its courts as well as sporting event screenings, including the Olympics.
Courts Club serves up a curated small bites menu and drink selection to enjoy brunch or a morning coffee on the outside terrace post-match on the courts or alongside watching sporting events on the big screen. Tuck into the likes of the “Courts Club” sandwich or Hawaiian bacon, habanero and kiwi hot sauce and sliced pineapple grilled cheese or one of the bar’s tasty salad bowls. You can book ahead here.

4. Pong & Puck
Masters of games, drinking and screenings Pong & Puck is of course showing the Olympics this summer. Housed in Manchester’s Great Northern Warehouse, Pong & Puck is set up perfectly for having fun with mates and catching all the sporting action, with plenty of drinks and grub to go around. Feel free to rock up, walk in and enjoy!

5. Screen on the Docks, MediaCity
Alongside a regular schedule of classic films, the brand new waterside screen at MediaCity is showing the summer of sport including the Olympics, cricket and Paralympics. The environment is also great to be in as the new waterfront hang-out space is littered with beautiful planters, colourful seating and deckchairs overlooking Dock 10, making it more like Sorrento than Salford.
Enjoy fish and chips from SuperFry Guys, ice cream from a A Few Scoops or a Pimm’s from the waterside bar, plus a game of Urban Boules, all whilst taking in the Olympics action.
