After two months of withdrawals from our beloved Katsu curry, Wagamama has announced that they’ll be re-opening 67 restaurants across the UK this month – and two of them are right here in Manchester.
Opening for delivery only, the roll-out is set to begin in just two days, with 24 restaurants open for business this Thursday May 21, and an additional 20 rolling out delivery on May 28. Each store will be partnering with popular delivery apps Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat – albeit with a reduced menu as the chain prepares to continue re-opening across the country.
Revealing the news just today, Wagamama has released an official list of the upcoming store re-openings, with both Manchester’s Spinningfields restaurant and the Didsbury restaurant now confirmed to re-open this Thursday. Check out the full list of stores re-opening May 21:
- Great Marlborough Street
- Great North Finchley
- Manchester Spinningfields (delivery and collection)
- Didsbury (delivery only)
- Nottingham (delivery and collection)
- Reigate (delivery and collection)
- St Albans
- Sheffield City Centre
- Fulham Broadway
- Putney (delivery and collection)
- Borough Market
It is currently unconfirmed when the remaining 23 stores will re-open (and whether any of them will be in Manchester), however, Wagamama plans to complete the 67 store roll-out before June.
