Having previously taken over Victoria Baths, the empty swimming pool that looks straight out of a Wes Anderson film, The Night Market is returning to the Manchester venue once again. Taking place this Halloween (October 31) from 6pm and 11pm, visitors can expect the ultimate shopping experience as they wander through a sea of independent stalls at this unique event.
Set to be their biggest and most ambitious event to date, The Night Market will take over the iconic Grade II listed Victoria Baths, Manchester, for one extraordinary evening. Known for curating unforgettable nights of music, food, art, vintage, and independent makers, the market will return to this historic venue with its largest line-up yet, and a seasonal twist befitting Halloween night.

What to expect at The Night Market Halloween special in Manchester
At The Night Market in Manchester, you can groove the night away and peruse the finest handmade goods to the anthem of fabulous tunes by live DJs, and enjoy delicious street food pop-ups outside in the car park (plus seating). With over 100 independent traders filling the pools and balcony of Victoria Baths, you’ll find local treasures including: vintage clothing, jewellery, ceramics, prints, original artworks, bakers, makers, and candlestick makers, plus countless more one-of-a-kind local artisan products.
Cocktail Cartel will also be on hand to take care of all your drink needs, both on the main bar in the Sports Hall, and a pop-up outside with the street food. They will have beer pouring all night from local brewery Seven Brothers, alongside a range of cocktails using spirits sourced from Spirit of Manchester and Salford Rum. There will also be a few Halloween specials on the menu.

Plus, thanks to what the director calls ‘a myriad of fabulous “nooks and crannies”’ in Victoria Baths and the fact that the event will take place on Halloween, organisers have also earmarked a space where customers can enjoy an immersive multimedia experience. The space will feature the work of artist/technologist Ross Blair and lighting designer Sam Jones, fresh off their huge success at Edinburgh’s Hidden Door Festival.
“This isn’t just about shopping, it’s about experiencing one of Manchester’s most iconic buildings in a whole new way.”
