Everything you missed if you didn’t manage to get tickets The Ivy’s ‘super party’
Last night (April 12) a lucky few gather to attend The Ivy Spinningfields Super Party, an evening of two parties in one, hosted to celebrate the reopening of the restaurant’s Roof Garden, following the fire that ripped through the top floor of the lavish restaurant and bar earlier this year.
The invitation-only event saw a Big Top Tent, dubbed ‘The Ivy Circus’, pop up in Hardman Square with high-octane acts, drummers, stilt walking clowns, knife throwers, hand balancing jugglers, contortionists, flying aerial performers, trapeze acts and of course, the restaurant’s very own Ringmaster. Party-goers were treated to Champagne, wine, delicious cocktails and sumptuous canapés.
While The Ivy Spinningfields hosted a party across all three floors of the restaurant, with live music, DJs and carnival dancers. Each floor was transformed into a visual spectacular, including a carnival in the Ivy Brasserie, cabaret in Ivy Asia and a botanical party in the Roof Garden.
All proceeds from ‘The Ivy Circus’ were donated to The Fire Fighters Charity following their heroic management of the rooftop fire in January. The Fire Fighters Charity helps to rescue the rescuers, supporting them when they need it most.
The Ivy Spinningfields’ Roof Garden will reopen to the public on April 15. For more information or to book, click here.
