St John’s is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after neighbourhoods to live and work in Manchester. Having begun life in the public eye back in the 50s when Granada Studios was born, the area has rarely been left alone, and now it’s been given a new lease of life. With the likes of Aviva Studios, Caravan, Courts Club, Trading Route and so many more occupying the area, alongside the extension of Campfield Market, St John’s is only set to get bigger.

Now, St John’s has welcomed The Green, a brand new community square for this summer, encouraging outdoor dining, open-air screening and coming together in the great outdoors.
In an Instagram post, The Green said: “The Green officially opens on 28.05.26.
“Expect music, cold beers and a new outdoor space right in the heart of the city.”
The Green is set to be the place to go for sports screenings and open-air cinema vibes this summer, and with the return of Wimbledon, a red hot F1 season, and of course, the World Cup coming up, The Green will be a much-appreciated social site for friends and family to hang out. The Green is also set to host wellness sessions on the lawn, making it the perfect spot, whatever your persuasion.
📍The Green is located on Grape Street, Manchester M3 4AP.
