Beastro’s tasting menu promises to delight foodies and prosecco lovers alike.
From September 27-29, Beastro is inviting food fans to indulge in a seven-course tasting menu, celebrating the beauty of British street food and the magic of meat.
Those taking part will be able to feast on seven delicious courses from the restaurant’s small but mighty menu (the same menu that saw the restaurant selected for BBC Two’s The Million Pound Menu series), all washed down with a glass of perfectly paired prosecco.
The courses will include:
- Sourdough and bone marrow butter
- Scallop with lemon crumb, garden pea and black pudding
- Heritage tomato on toast with goats curd
- Cornfed chicken ‘salad’
- Lamb rump on a bed of mixed bean and chorizo cassoulet
- Summer fruit sorbet
- Chocolate fondant tart
As the menu suggests, the people at Beastro are passionate about meat, having won an award for their Bangers and Bacon concept, and believe in celebrating the whole beast, from nose to tail.
They also ensure all their ingredients are locally sourced, from their black pudding (which is created just down the road at Bury Black Pudding) to their bread (which is made by the team at Lovingly Artisan) and ensure that when it comes to sourcing, fair trade, organic and ethical are their top priorities.
Tickets are available from Fever and are priced at £49 per person and will include seven courses and a glass of prosecco. The menu will be available from September 27 – 29, between 5pm and 8.30pm. There will be no age restrictions to dine but challenge 25 will be in place for alcohol so a valid ID will be required.
