Manchester food and beer hall Society is inviting beer lovers to raise a glass to International Beer Day this August with the launch of its brand-new ‘Society Beer Passport’ – a month-long celebration of great beer, local breweries and the biggest beer collection in the city.
How does the Society Beer Passport work?
Now available, the Beer Passport encourages guests to leave airport queues and passport control behind and work their way through six delicious destinations available on tap at Society, collecting a stamp as they journey through a carefully selected line-up of standout pours.
Whether completed over several stints or in one ambitious sitting, every completed passport can be redeemed in return for a complimentary pint. Everyone who completes the challenge will also be entered into a prize draw to win a special Society prize.
Which beers can you tick off?
Designed to showcase the very best beers pouring across Society’s taps, the Beer Passport features six different stops for guests to stamp throughout August.
Travellers can check off:
- A crisp Lager, such as the refreshing Hilltop Lager;
- A juicy, hoppy IPA, like DEYA’s Steady Rolling Man Pale Ale;
- A Local Legend celebrating one of Society’s favourite independent breweries such as Society’s collab beer with Sureshot Brewery;
- A refreshing Cider, such as Lilley’s Mango Cider;
- A traditional Cask beer, including Blackjack’s Ernest Dinner Ale;
- A Wild Card Pour, where anything goes – from Hudson Valley’s raw wheat sour IPA, to Vault City’s 24-carat collab with 3 Sons Brewing Co.
With 44 beers on tap and an ever-changing line-up of beers, Society has become a destination for craft beer lovers in Manchester. The Beer Passport encourages customers to discover new styles while pairing them with dishes from Society’s five independent street food traders throughout August.
